Is anyone in Inkopolis missing a bunch of Super Sea Snails? I was visiting Inkopolis Square for definitely legal reasons when I saw a big group of ‘em in front of Deca Tower, almost like they were in a huddle. They seemed to be making vocalizations, but when I tried to investigate, they fell silent and just… stared…

all goofing aside,,, i genuinely don't understand the urge to reimagine Callie Aori Cuttlefish as a secretly queer icon when the pop music scene(TM) is like. literally overflowing with women who actually like women. Marina and Pearl and Shiver and Frye are right there. Harmony and Jessika and Tao Blu if you're willing to branch into other genres a little. Dedf1sh for a nonbinary take on liking girls. like... what are we doing here,,, like i'm not even saying you can't enjoy callie or squid sisters or anything like that but why would you hang all your little gay hopes on her.

OP is basically saying something along the lines of "yea I know Callie Cuttlefish is bi but like. Why is she y'all's only LGBTQ+ cephalopop icon when there are all these other LGBTQ+ people in the cephalopop scene???"
