Guuuuys I wanna talk about my ocs agaiiiiiiiiiin.

This time I wanna talk about the first half of my au, so that means posting about my main cast!!!!! So six posts, yapping galore, and the cherry on top, my sweet boy Yuuma

I'm doing him last so I finish the series tho lmao

Mitsuki! Mitsuki!

So as I mentioned in his intro post him and Maki are besties, but before I get into that I wanna talk about Mitsu all by himself.

Mitsuki has the crests of Courage and Purity/Sincerity, but he really doesn't understand why. At least on the Courage front, Mitsu for a long time can't make his crest glow, not because he's not brave or courageous, but more because he doesn't feel like he is. Mitsuki is really good at holding himself back because he just feels like he'll get in the way, he's kinda clumbsy and easily spooked and in general feels less cool next to his peers.

He doesn't know it, but Mitsuki is actually really brave. He's brave because even though he feels these things about himself, Mitsuki still shows up, he still tries, he still (slowly) pushes himself out of his comfort zone with the help of his friends and Plotmon. His crest glows when he realizes how courageous he really is.

now, onto Mitsu and Maki! The two of them have mostly grown up together on account of their parents being close friends, this fostered their friendship to the point that it is now. Mitsuki really looks up to Maki because he thinks they're cool and confident and smart. Just all the good qualities someone could have. Maki is I think Mitsuki's only friend at the start of the story because Mitsuki is kinda awkward and nervous, most kids at his school think he's kinda weird, but Maki doesn't mind one bit :)

Fan kid post #2! This time it's Miyako and Hikari's children!

Mitsuki - 10 years old - he/him. Mitsuki is the oldest of the two, he's the same age as Maki and they're best friends! It makes sense since they're both Digidestined, and a part of the same group. Mitsuki's Digimon is Plotmon! I'll be talking more about Mitsuki and Maki's relationship on a seperate post!

Nanami - 4 years old - she/her. The youngest and more mischievious sibling. She's much more carefree and reckless than her brother, who can be a bit of a scaredy cat sometimes. She loves to run around and explore, she's friends with Sumiko and Satomi, but their relationship with each other is more cousin-like than Mitsuki and Maki who are just regular friends. She also has a Digimon, hers is Poromon.

I also luv these babies so much, I'm excited to talk more about Mitsuki's friendship with Maki, and their roles in the greater story :D

I know I was really active and haven't posted in a couple weeks, buuuut it was my birthday recently so I was celebrating! And it doesn't matter now, cuz I got more Digimon art in the works. Some new fan kids for my second favorite Jogress pairing: Miyako and Hikari!!!! Yippee!!!!

Maki is on the scene and I'm about to yap about them like fucking crazy

So I said in this post where I introduced Maki and their siblings that I would talk about them more late....well, it's later now, time to talk!

I wanna preface this whole yapsesh by telling you all that this is based in my larger Digimon au/02 continuation of sorts which ingores the following: Tri, Kizuna, The Begining, and Beyond. Basically anything after Tamers (because Ryo is one of my favs and I had to include him) doesn't matter for my au and therefore this disscussion because I don't like them very much lol.

Who is Maki Motomiya? Well, they're part of the newest group of Chosen Children in the modern day (technically like 2024, but it doesn't matter that much) Their crest is Knowledge and their Digimental is Kindness! But what about them as a person?

Maki painted their sweater vest all by themself, they found the experiance so fun that painting and drawing in general became their favorite hobby! They love to draw characters, they have their own super edgy angel and demon ocs and their biggest inspirations is moe anime. Maki's artistic endevors is what helps them explore stuff like their gender identity and the way they feel about their peers and themself.

Out of all their siblings Satomi is the one they get along with most. Both are a lot more introverted and so they end up inside the house together more often. I also just think that Satomi and Maki are the most similar to Ken personality wise. Very internal people they are, buuuut Satomi and Maki both really love playing Kirby games together! They've played through Kirby Star Allies so many times because they like how many different characters they can play as. They also get to bond over drawing Kirby characters and making ocs

Speaking of Ken, I think out of both parents Ken tends to understand Maki's emotions best. It's fickle times with a tween, and sometimes Daisuke gets on their nerves in a uniquely Daisuke way. Not to say Maki and Daisuke don't get a long, but I think when they're in a bad mood it's more likely Daisuke will make it worse, because I think as much as they can be like Ken, Maki is actually more similar to Osamu.

Sometimes it's like looking right at him again. Especially when Maki gets mad, their anger swells in almost the exact same way his did when he and Ken were young.

In a similar way I think Maki also has a lot of pressure on them. Not from their family, Ken and Daisuke have never pushed their children to be anything but themselves, but outside forces aren't as kind

they're handling it.

Y'know, I've been thinking about the last post I made, more so thinking about something related to it.

I went to check and I haven't posted about my DaiKen ship children since 2022 O_O

I used to be really kinda embarrassed about having ship kids like that, but honestly after getting really into Sonadow I am desperate for ship kid content because at my heart I am a domestic boy and I like drawing my ships in my idealized life lol. All this to say, DaiKen ship children content coming soon to an AMC theater near you

It's been a few hours and I've done it

My babies, the DaiKen ship kids :D from left to right:

Maki - 10 years old - they/them. Maki is the eldist child, they're also the only one who is an offical Chosen Child (the other kids have Digimon, but their Digivices are with their parents for safe keeping) their Digimon is also a Wormmon who they've nicknamed Matcha. Maki is also nonbinary, they've known since they were a young child that they were. They have more lore, but I'll save that for another time.

Miyumi - 1 year old - she/her. Miyumi is the youngest child and the last kid Ken and Daisuke have. She's got a big personality for how young she is, and she's also a biiiig daddy's girl, often times Daisuke is the only person who can get her to sleep. Her Digimon is still an egg so only time will tell.

Sumiko - 5 years old - she/her. One half of a pair, she's a twin! She's very active, she wants to be a Chosen Child so badly, because she thinks all the stories she's been told are so cool and she wants to be like that too. She's sort of a tomboy, so much so that people who've just met the twins tend to confuse her for her brother. She's just learning how to dress herself so her outfits are interesting to say the least. Her Digimon is a Chibimon she's nickmaned Aoi.

Satomi - 5 years old - he/him. The other twin, Satomi is very shy and likes to keep to himself more. If it weren't for his sister dragging him outside to play he'd be content inside by himself. He's the most introverted of all the kids and he also visualy looks the most like Ken, which I find fitting. He also has a Chibimon (not the same one) that he calls Bii.

I love them so so much, I have so much more to say but I don't want this post to be like a million billion years long so like idk, if you wanna see more O_O lemme know lol. Oh also, in case you didn't see this post I hc Ken as transmasc soooo, the kids are him and Daisuke's biological children :D trans people win again!

Hello gay people, I have another text post for you.

My contribution to pride month this year is gonna be talking about why I'm so justified in headcanoning all my favorite boys as trans.

Hear me out, Ken Ichijouji being Transmasc makes so much sense considering his character. The idea that his parents gave his brother preferential treatment, not just because he was older and a gifted child but also because Osamu was their oldest son while Ken would be their youngest daughter. His parents would start to see him more as he transitioned because not only was he smart like Osamu, but he was now their chance at a son again.

Ken during his redemption arc I feel tries to make himself take up as little space as possible. He doesn't want to get in the way, he gets scared to ask the others to come to his Christmas party because he feels like he's overstepping, he has trouble talking to Iori because he feels like Iori still doesn't like him (also because Ken and Iori and probably both autistic but that's a rant for a different time lol) as someone who was socialized as a girl in his younger years and also largely ignored this really lines up with the experiences of tons of Transmascs (including me!). I mean to this day we are ignored and left out of discussions frequently.

Of course, we can argue until the cows come home that this characterization is just because he was neglected and because of his own mental state and feeling like he doesn't deserve to be a part of the group. These things are true, and I feel that a trans reading overtop of these existing factors doesn't take away that, in my mind it only adds to Ken's character!

I really love the depth of representation you can get out of a character when you choose to read them with your experience. I have always identified with Ken even before I came out and getting to view him with my autistic transgender eyeballs has just brought me endless joy. Sound off if you want more trans Ken yapping because I will. I'll autism yap too.

Happy Birthday to Us.......

I'm Yuumaposting guys, in fact, I'm Yuumayapping. Let's info dump!

This is my most favoretist Digimon oc, Yuuma!! He's my special little boy, and funnily enough I drew this for story reasons but his third birthday is actually the 26th of THIS WEEK!!!!! I will be having a party, you all are invited, please bring gifts for my son.

Anyway, about the piece, Yuuma has experianced much tragedy. This specifically is about his twin sister, Yuuka; who was killed in a car accident, that also killed their parents, and maimed the hell out of Yuuma, hence the eyepatch. They were six when that happened, and now when the story of my Digimon au takes place (2005, btw) Yuuma is 14, but still he'll always feel the presance of the empty chair where Yuuka should be.

Behind him is his childhood best friend (and fellow Digidestined) Masahiko (right) and his older brother Shinsaku (who wasn't in the car btw) on the left.

The first design I made for Epoxy when I was like 10 gives me the rounds. Back when I first made him his name was fucking Asher XD and I also made the design before I actually got Splatoon 2, I was just so excited about getting the game that I made my Agents before hand, I can't remember when he got redesigned, but thank cod he did!

My Splatoon Agents!!! I've been working on these guys for awhile, they have so much lore that I'd love to yap about, but I'll save that for a different time.

Honestly this is the best these guys have ever looked, Splatoon artists, I would love to know how on earth ya'll make the tentical hair look so good because it is so hard to draw >_<
