I’ve done a lot of Tadc art recently and havent been posting them so I’m gonna start slowly posting them a few at a time.

Saw the finale and it was SO GOOD! There will be no spoilers on this blog until the YouTube release though! I’m really excited for that though, I need to rewatch it a million times. All the people talking about it being trash are lying, don’t worry guys. The rest of this post is just a spoiler free talk about our experience going there that doesn’t reveal anything that happened in the movie.

Me and my buddies went dressed as Ragatha, Gangle, and Caine, (I was Ragatha) and at the end a young girl came up to us and gave us little cards with our characters drawn on them 😭 It made our days and we wanna frame them all together. I hope she knows how much we loved that. Like we’re gonna cherish those for the rest of our lives.

We also did a sort of bingo thing where we listed things like “Cries” “Abstracts” “Swears” “Name Reveal” “Face Reveal” “Sings” “Ship gets affirmed” “Attacks someone” and stuff like that and whoever’s character did most things got a point and whoever won got two ha’ pennies. It was hilarious.

Also I don’t get much asks anyways but I thought I’d mention asks are open again! I won’t answer them until after the YouTube release if they have spoilers though.

Okay so apparently I missed this ask for like months! I’m really sorry about that 😭

But yeah I hadn’t seen the video so I skimmed through it to get the gist and that would be awesome! Given what I’ve heard about Yuuta and Tail’s potential friendship, fusion would be such a cool thing for them. They sort of give the vibe of a younger Shadow and Sonic. Like the next generation of them (with less conflict and all that).

Have you seen these type of asks? "Sorry if I'm annoying. I think you might like Sonic and the Blade of Courage, Sonic and Yuuta are the main characters. Yuuta is from sonic and the blade of courage an official Manga owned by sega. He is a great character and deserves more attention. He loves helping others to the point he is usually late for school which got him bullied, he is actually able to fight, he is very brave despite having self-esteem problems and a lot of self doubt, he is kindhearted but a bit snarky he is cautious but has gotten a bit more reckless thanks to sonic, he is getting character development and is going through a training arc, he is actually willing to fight, and he has some actual insecurities that make sense. Oh and his town including friends and family got petrified infront of him. Plus his sword is pretty awesome, it slows anything it touches for a bit. Yuuta is a good sonic character. Plus he got punched by a freaking Kaiju that could create ravines multiple times, got up after a little girl got into trouble and was the one to deliver the finishing blow. So he is far from weak or useless. He also isn't really annoying personality wise. Also this kid needs a hug, he needs so many hugs. Sonic and Yuuta kinda seem like brothers. Yuuta acts like Sonic is his big brother. Plus the blade has two forms other than it's inactive state, those being it's basically courage form which doesn't cut but instead phases through things and absorbs energy making things move slower, and it's true courage form which does actually cut stuff. The kaiju that Yuuta cuts in half was able to tank attacks from sonic and the Manga definitely takes place around the time of Sonic generations. Yuuta is deadpans a lot. Plus he is cute and some cute moments and a badass fight against metal sonic. Yuuta is kinda interesting. Yuuta gets very determined when needed and deserves more attention. There is also Princess Metstli. Yuuta kinda reminds of Tails. Yuuta can be a bit bratty but it is mostly through him being a bit snarky, he isn't hyperactive or anything like that. " like who the hell cares this much about Yuuta. He is just a stupid, boring, bland Japanese character with nothing interesting about him. The Manga is shit and is inferior to the idw comics. Hell the archie comics are better than Sonic and the Blade of Courage. And the archie comics suck. Yuuta and his shitty Manga don't deserve fans! Who cares about such a bland, useless, and boring character and why would anyone care? Yuuta doesn't even have fanart or fanfiction. He doesn't deserve any anyways.

Buddy I think you’re spending too much energy hating something that clearly brings someone joy. Those are inside thoughts little dude. Someone finding joy in something and trying to spread it isn’t as much of a crime as you seem to think it is. And why come yapping to me about it assuming I’ll jump on the hate train?

I know this is a bit random but Sonic and the blade of courage is underrated. Anyways I like the idea of Sonic getting Shadow to spend time with Tails and Yuuta causing Shadow to actually bond with the two kids that he previously wasn't a fan of. I mean Tails is pretty smart like Gerald and Yuuta loves helping others to a huge degree like Maria. Both Tails and Yuuta are also very good fighters that are willing to fight others if anyone is in danger. They are pretty strong kids too. Though both have some self-esteem problems. Still plenty for Shadow to grow to like.

Nah dude don’t worry about ranting, I love reading people’s takes on things that they enjoy, this is giving me a whole new view into the Sonic series that I haven’t seen before, this is awesome.

I totally agree, from the little I’ve seen of Yuuta it seems like he’d totally get along with Shadow (even if Shadow is stubborn at first). I also love the idea of other characters reminding Shadow of his old family, so that would be a super cool and interesting dynamic. Now I’m wishing Yuuta had more content or at least was a recurring character, he seems too interesting to just be part of a few stories, and I think it’s super interesting when humans are added to Sonic’s friend group.

I haven’t heard of him but from the images and description in that post he sounds awesome! I don’t read the manga but I know the feeling of having a character you really like only being in a few niche things and isn’t very popular. Him and Tails seem like they’d make an awesome duo from what I’ve seen though!
