i love fakir so much. he's traumatized by a fanfic he wrote when he was 4. he's directly related to the series' main antagonist. he rides a horse around school and rips his clothes because he thinks it makes him look cool (it does). he's been in a custody battle with a homeless girl for 10 years over a fiction character. he does ballet because of said custody battle. he brings his toddler sister to school so she can collect gossip for him. he was framed for public attempted murder and his only punishment was suspension from school??? he has one of the best enemies to lovers storylines of all time with a bird. he is god.

The point of Into The Spiderverse is that anyone could be Spider-Man. It was the whole point of the ending speech. And Across The Spiderverse continues this theme perfectly.

The second Miguel started talking about things you need to be Spider-Man, things you have to do, patterns you have to follow, I knew he and everyone going along with this was wrong. I understand why they think this way but they’re wrong.

That miles wasn’t supposed to be a spider at all is so perfect for this. Because when you strip back all the standards and rules it does MATTER. They’re too in their own heads about it. Anyone can be Spider-Man, they just have to rise to the occasion.

And following these rules over that is where they went wrong.

The spidermans gave me a religious experience last night and I heard it’s all the rage to make one of your own so I made an extremely silly one that has breakfast-themed powers

Peggy (goes by Egg) Parker bit into a radioactive croissant one morning and gained the unique psychic ability to tell what food someone is craving. Her dimension is extremely cartoony and goofy. The villains come out at sunrise, motivated by hanger, and she defeats them by making whatever breakfast they wanna eat.

She’s not strong at all compared to the other spider-people but she IS the most popular between the hours of 5am to 12pm. Miguel let her in bc her homemade huevos rancheros is the only thing preventing him from committing a diplomatic invident
