If I had a nickel for two gay medias coming out within a month from each other that's about a rivals to lovers trope with professional athletes, and the dark haired man is the more uptight one while the blond man has an abrasive personality, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice
I LOVE THEM!!!
Okay but like-
In the clip where Jinu is proposing his plan/introducing the Saja Boys, they already have their bright-colored hair and at least one has his ears pierced. Unless demons naturally have rainbow hair, this means that to prepare for this, they were probably all hunched over the sink together with box hair dye, and either did their piercings themselves or went up to the human world and sat in the chair at Claire's.
Either way, the mental image is funny as hell.
"Why do you like gay kid's cartoons and YA stuff like Heartstopper so much? You're a bit old for that!"
Because I'm old enough to remember when that kind of thing wasn't allowed, let alone popular. I remember when any media that positively depicted queer people was exclusively for adults, and most media depicted us as something to either be made fun of or killed off. And it really wasn't that long ago that the majority of media involving queer people was like that, and it was seen as a weird thing to even include us.
The way media for younger people having queer characters in it who get to be happy has become way more normalised is a wonderful turnaround from that, not to mention how a lot of those shows just genuinely have good stories and compelling characters. And I never had anything like those kid's cartoons and YA shows growing up, so you bet I'm gonna enjoy them now.
GMMTV ISN’T CONTRACTUALLY FORCING THEIR ACTORS INTO THE CLOSET
Recently, I saw a fan from the U.S. claiming on TikTok that GMMTV contractually forces their queer actors to keep their sexual identities a secret. Why else would there be so few openly queer actors???
So, first of all, it’s not like the few openly queer actors in GMMTV had to break some corporate closet door to escape, and then GMMTV went, “Aw, shucks. Well, I guess y’all win. We’ll keep paying you, you little rainbowy scamps.” There are only a few of them because being openly queer in Thailand’s media industry is still fucking hard.
Just thinking about how Jinx never told Isha to stay back and always let her tag along despite the danger because she never wanted to do the same thing Vi did to her and make Isha feel left out/useless. But now she probably understands in the worst way why Vi did what she did.
I’m totally fine.
ARCANE LEAGUE OF LESBIANS: 2x08 - “Killing is a Cycle”
Vander: I've always liked the name Violet. Silco: *snorts a line* Hey, you know what I like?
to me this is canon
i love canceling plans. dear maria count me out
“jinx tells vi that she hopes she and caitlyn at least got to fuck before she kills them” was not on my season 2 bingo card, i’ll tell you that
Concert etiquette
Being rude during the opener is never cute!
Don’t yawn, booh or complain during the support act. That’s just disrespectful! People are trying to enjoy it and payed to see the whole show. Stop ruining it for the people around you.
WHY WONT YOU LET ME BOOP YOU respectfully
ARTIFICIAL BOOP RECEIVED AND GREATLY APPRECIATED!
Would like to ask permission to boop you back? 🥺👉👈
'mine <3' not in a monogamous way.
not in a "you are mine and no one else's" way.
in a "our hearts belong to each other but also to so many other people" way.
in a possessive way that isn't any less meaningful within our context.
not "mine" as in "my property" but "mine" as in "my responsibility"
heteronormativity should be its own genre of horror tbh
