Had this Psychonauts fanart idea floating in my head for a bit! Post reconstructive surgery checkup—the bandages are off and he gets to see hair starting to grow back ;_; !!! Cal is in therapy and slowly working through his trauma and finding some balance. Will he gain lost psychic abilities back through emotional healing?🤔 Anywho, I adore this funky lil character and the depth they added with his backstory. Finally, after almost scrapping this one I decided to ~trust the process~ and finish it! I like where it ended up despite the safe and simple pose. This wasn’t just an excuse to draw something edgy I swear. I’m still utterly obsessed with HxH rn. Slowly making my way through the CA arc bc the emotional turmoil has already taken years off my life lol. But I’ll tell you, it’s been worth it!
