Salvador Larroca draws ‘Welcome Home” interlocking covers for Marvel. Wolverine’s ghost makes it, but none of the Fantastic Four.

I wonder if Wolverine’s ghost actually appears in the comics?

Larroca has been drawing X-Men books for 20 years, and still does not know how the optic blast works. I am also a bit surprise at a worldly woman like Emma, being so captivated by the action of optic blast popcorn, that she is wide eyed, and clapping

It also kind of illustrates another issue with super-hero comics, that it is all about the super-heroes and almost never about the people they are supposed to be protecting. Note all the super people are in full vibrant color and the normals are dulled.

I am talking about the scheming guy, who works behind his friends and allies backs. The villain of Marvel’s Civil War.

The man who cloned his dead friend, and to use as a weapon and propaganda tool

The man who put the Phoenix into 5 unfit hosts, because of his ill conceived plan, and then was not able to reflect on what a trauma he caused those people; only that he was “fixed it”

Tony is the corrupt “hero” who would set himself up as the secret ruler of Earth. While the other members of the Illuminati (with maybe the exception of Namor) see their positions as a necessary evil, and something of a burden, Tony looks at it as a position he relishes, and deserves.

He is the traitor to the Avengers.

With Marvel starting the Civil War phase of their movies, it looks like Avengers 2 is going to begin the amoral phase of his character arc. I am really glad the MCU versions of Steve and Tony have never built up a strong relationship, and have had a good amount of tension from the start.
