so I made an OC for LMK/JTTW somewhat based off of an ability in ch67! Her name is tentatively Sun Jiyun and she can grow very big, and also used to be in the monkey army way back when

some more info:

her favourite things are persimmons, her monkey family, and learning stories of the great sage! carries at least one volume of JTTW at all times to read for fun whenever

uses her Growing Very Big ability to be able to carry and hold all her monkey family (potentially also to be a convenient mode of transport)

her name’s still tentative but it’s Jíyún (集云) as in yún jí (云 集) as in “gather” flipped, but im not confident if it works as a name so I’ll probably change it if not (’:

backstory???? as summarised as I can make it:

got chased out of FFM (around the time sun wukong got mountained) and got lost and separated from her monkey troop and has been looking for sun wukong and following all the stories about him ever since (except of course she’s comically going to ju~st miss him Several Times)

spent a while learning how to grow big / gigantamax in the Seven Extremes Mountain and only finished her training after the JTTW gang passes through, then annually (?) started eating all the persimmons in the mountain since then (possibly started because she was sad-eating about literally JUST missing the great sage when he passed through) and hung out with animal friends there for a couple hundred years

started travelling around to watch plays about the great sage etc and to learn more about him and maybe how to get back to her monkey family, and finally finds them in flower fruit mountain sometime during the events of LMK probably
