Shoutout to everyone whose lives have been changed by their disability/ies. You are not a burden. You are not behind. Life may look much different to you than it does your peers, but that doesn't mean you are any less valuable. The Creator of the whole universe thought it needed one of you, too. It takes courage to show up every day to battle your own body and/or mind. I know it's difficult to find peace through such a personal and often isolating storm, but there is great peace in knowing Jesus; lean on Him when the going gets tough. Jesus loves you.

One of my favorite things about Jesus is He gets it. He understands your heart, your mind, your thoughts, intentions, your sense of humor, your ambitions, and the reason why you cry. He already understands you, but what He really wants is to be your friend. Not because He needs more friends for His own sake, but because He loves you so dearly, He wants to move in your life. Jesus isn't some tough, rigid God who wants to slap the weight of sin on your shoulders and leave it there. No. Jesus understands how we are all sinners and how sin is a heavy burden to carry – He just wants to help you carry that burden simply because He loves you. Jesus wants to make your heart and mind a happy place to be so sin no longer feels desirable. This is The Man who looked at the cross, thought of you, and said, "you're worth it." Jesus already decided He loves you thousands of years ago, He just wants you to open your heart to Him. It doesn't matter who you are, where you're from, or what you've done... All of Heaven rejoices in the knock of one sinner who comes to genuine repentance. Even if all you can do is cry, Jesus already understands. Please let Jesus be your friend. Jesus loves you!!!
