What canvas size do you use when drawing Ciprinus? How do you when to place your characters and dialogue? Is CSP or Procreate better to draw comics based on your experience? I love your comics and enjoy your art style!!

oh procreate def sucks ass for drawing comics compared to clip studio. csp has special template for comics (though you might not need much of it) and has a tool for creating and cutting frames specifially (so it already has a mask and your drawing won't get outside of frame)

it also has these lines and i use only the gloom one but focus lines next to it can be useful too (depends on your style tbh)

regarding canvas size i'm using 148x210 mm which is A5 i think? there was a time the canvas was immensely large and then it got somewhere like A6 and i noticed that too late but changed for new chapters bc printing something that is originally A6 on A5 will be a nightmare. if you're not planning to print your comics you don't have to worry about canvas size at all. if you want to print it, decide which format it's going to be and draw on it or bigger. Clip studio has tool for drawing speech bubbles too but i don't use it. It's usually just white hand-drawn shape with black outline (im surprised that procreate doesn't even have an outline function fahh)

It also has some manga materials but the only thing i use (sometimes) are page templates when i'm not sure how to arrange frames and wish to go after more traditional manga look

i think that's most of the stuff that is exclusive to csp but if you have any other questions im all ears oh and for janka comics im not using any of that really. i just have one canvas where i draw all the pages on different layers. and i have a layer with frame but drawings often exceed it so i just crop it in the end
