also to all of the wonderful people who I ever talked to on here or talked to in general that followed me through here, I really hope all of you have been well. the past two years have been busy and I forgot about life and about writing and about just keeping myself happy. I've been so filled with misery and I have been trying my hardest to change that, but I feel like so many people are discouraged with the way this world sometimes treats people. I probably won't post on this blog after this but I hope that all of us can continue keep on fighting for better days.

I think that often I miss how great the music scene was for such a long time around Philadelphia and surrounding areas. I miss having great shows at great places almost every single weekend. It was so great getting together with friends and just singing till you didn't have a voice. Singing the songs that had so much meaning to you, with other people who were totally rad, and could totally relate to how you're feeling. Now that all the bands have disbanded and everyone's moved on, it just kind of sucks. I do want to go to more shows, it's just hard when there are so few active bands that catch my interest anymore. It definitely made getting through hard times a good bit easier, knowing there was a good show or some good tunes to look forward to. I'm just glad I got to experience it, they were some of the best times of my life and to anyone who was ever involved, thank you so much. you are some of the raddest and best people i have ever met and i could never forget all of the awesome folks and awesome times I had.

"I’m God" by Clams Casino from Instrumental Mixtape (via: xliixixii)

I think it's truly incredible when you can sit and listen to an instrumental and be completely absorbed by the sound. Clams Casino has to be the best producer in rap/hip-hop right now, simply because of how ethereal his beats are.
