"Construction 11" is finally done! Took me some time inbetween work, projects and commissions but I am happy to cut it off its workboard. Now it is time to reflect, analyse and jot the journey down in words. This is my second abstract and it's made out of watercolour paint and gesso on A1 Saunders Waterford watercolourpaper. No collage this time, just pure exploration of colours, directions and pattern/surface. Aaaaaah, I am creating art!!!

Been working on this for the last few days, and it is a digital collage of a year old water colour painting I found in my “scanned_process” folder on my iMac. About time to finish it up!!! I tried not to constrict myself while working with it, and experimented back and forward quite a bit. Enjoyed the visual conversation I had with the piece, and as a title I landed on “ Construction”. Possibly the first in a series.... :D
