if you’ve stumbled across me and you’re curious as to what sort of person I am, here are some important facts about me!

🩷 I’m 21 years old and live in the USA (🥲)

🩷 I’m Greek-American

🩷 I’m a lesbian and also on the asexual spectrum, although I’m still in the process of figuring out exactly where I land on that front

🩷 I’m Episcopalian, I love getting involved in my church community and meeting other queer Christians

🩷 I’m a vocal classical music major, basically think opera and choirs and mental breakdowns over music theory and you get the gist

🩷 I’m disabled, I live with autism, adhd and unspecified hypersomnia (God willing it will one day be specified) among other various ailments

🩷 My special interest is Marie Antoinette, I also love revisiting nostalgia from my childhood, vintage fashion, learning about history (especially queer history), books, sewing, doll collecting and a whole manner of other sundry pastimes

got a package from my mom and opened it up to find THIS and nearly started crying

literally my childhood in a snack i haven’t had these in YEARS but i needed this so bad right now

when I was a kid & assigned to read the book the outsiders, I assumed that it must be written by a man because there are virtually no female characters. so I was surprised, at that time, to learn it was written by a teenage girl. I remember asking my mom about it, and she was like "well, sometimes boys are the only thing on a girl's mind."

I find it telling that the reverse is not true. straight boys are not generally writing stories where all the characters are women, and if one did, it would not be explained in that same way where obviously when boys like girls they want to write about them.

in fact, pretty much everyone I know who was ever considered to fit that description (a boy really interested in relationships between women) was not a straight boy at all. mostly these were trans lesbians & bisexuals.

it seems like only dykes are ever really interested in stories that revolve around exclusively women. but everybody is interested in stories that revolve around exclusively men.
