I'm going to miss you. Everything that is good about me was because of you. Thank you for being my rock, my biggest supporter and my best friend. I will miss you forever, but I am so thankful to have been able to spend the time with you that I did. I will cherish the memories forever, until I see you again.
My Dad was the best person in the world. He cared deeply, loved fiercely, was loyal and steadfast. He was a force to be reckoned with when determined, and would give you the shirt off his back. He was funny, and no matter what, he could always get me to laugh. He was almost never without a smile, and was always down to go on an adventure.
Thank you for teaching me about gold panning, how to change a tire, check the oil in my car, teaching me that your work ethic is everything, and that holding a good job long term is better than bouncing between jobs. Thank you for nurturing my love of the outdoors- going hiking with me, teaching me golf and tennis, going gold panning and backpacking.
Thank you for being you.
I love you more than life. I can't wait to see you again, but for now, rest easy, and enjoy Heaven. You've earned it.
