A funny thought occurred to me the other day. Imagine that Nico has a fight with Hades and runs away through the shadows. After a while, he ends up in a strange place.
Scene:
Niko falls into the shadows, hitting something hard with his whole body, screaming out in pain. He regains consciousness and realizes he's lying on the floor under the bed, and the bed creaks with a trembling voice from above.
???: You... Did you come to eat me?
Nico's stomach rumbles from the long journey, and he's got a dry mouth. He blinks one more time before his voice echoes under the bed.
Nico: If you gave me something to eat and drink, I'd consider it...
His voice sounded hoarse and guttural, like a panther's growl, which surprised him. The bed creaked open, revealing the neat feet of tanned legs in the glow of the night lamp. The door opened, and no one was there for a couple minutes, while Nico passed out and woke up again. The last time he woke up to the creak of the door, along with the clinking of a plate and can against the wooden floor, he snorted unhappily.
???: I hope my life is equal to the price of fries and a cheeseburger with a cold soda.
Nico: That's acceptable...
Nico: You're not gonna eat me, Under bed monster?
"Under bed monster" thought Nico, definitely not what he looked like, though given his exhaustion and anger, he could agree with that.
It sounds pretty funny, and I'm not sure what to do with it yet. I might draw something or write something. We'll see.🤔
