Uhh, I'm just gonna throw this on the "Kid Fic" square - there are, indeed, kids in this fic. Chapter 3 of whatever the name of the catastrophe (it is never the opposite of love) is UP. Featuring Leonard McCoy being the Most Stressed Guy Ever, torture, murder, and McCoy having ZERO idea of the larger implications of his actions. Honestly, it's probably a good thing he doesn't actually know he accidentally adopted 20k kids, he's stressed enough as it is lmao

I've finally (finally!!) posted my fills for @leonardmccoyevents Leonard McCoy Valentine's 2025. I really did start writing in February, honest, but one of them fought back and I wanted to put them all up together.

Okay, I'm not COMPLETELY done writing this fic, but I have the first two chapters fullly written and a good portion of the rest partially done, so I'm gonna start posting it now.

Still, it was Bones who’d had the long shift, Bones who was too tired to eat when he’d gotten home that night. “You’re the one who needs taking care of, though,” Jim protested feebly.

“Here’s a little secret about me,” Bones said, kissing his way down Jim’s neck. “My favorite way to relax? Taking care of someone else. Preferably,” he said, sucking at a bit of skin that Jim knew would just barely be covered by his cadet uniform, “someone who makes noises as pretty as that.”

Jim stopped trying to swallow the whine that was escaping him, letting Bones hear the effect he was having.

Do you have an idea of how long each writer would get to do their bit of the round robin? And is it like, you read the previous and pick it up or do we all get like given a bit of plot to write out and it's mushed together at the end?

Hello anon,

I don't anyone to stress while participating, I was thinking about 5-7 days for each person to write their section. Of course, this depends on how many people want to join in, what the other participants think is fair and how long people want the fic to be. Also, the order that people take their turn writing would be flexible, so if the timing wasn't great, another person could step in and then you take your turn at a later date.

For the second question, it is the first option. One person writes a section, then hands it on to the next author, who picks up from where they ended, and so on until the last person finishes the fic.

Aka the goofiest fic about interplanetary espionage, smuggling, and technically illegal but not actually that unethical medical decisions you'll probably read. Yes, I know the Ferengi weren't contacted until TNG. I don't care, I love Gorpax the trans man Ferengi smuggler.

Eleventh fill for @leonardmccoyevents's Leonard McCoy Bingo 2025 is up! For square "Dreams of the Raven", here's hearing a voice i'd known (a couple of lightyears ago). AKA the one where the fal-tor-pan goes wrong in new and interesting ways, Spock trips the fuck out for 2/3rds of the fic, and McCoy gets an unasked-for nap. This isn't technically Spones, but it definitely has some funky vibes.
