Tips for Staying Healthy Healthier
Don’t skip breakfast if you’re not fasting, you need at least 200 kcal to get your metabolism going after it slowed down for the night
TAKE VITAMINS!!! I highly reccomend an iron supplement the most, but B vitamins, vitamin c during cold season, vitamins for the heart, vitamins for your bones (please check what is in each vitamin blend so you don’t accidentally take too much of one- you can ask the nutrition clerk if you need.
DRINK WATER!!! i dont care that you wanna get the best weight for yourself, drinking water will help with weight loss and keeping you functioning, drink a lot of water
sometimes the higher calorie option is better, they’ll make you feel fuller longer and ultimately be fewer calories in the end
dont completely remove your favorite foods from your diet, you will only want to binge more, give yourself some extra calories (which its good to fluctuate anyway) every 3-7 days to have that candy or nutella or whatever. if possible, get a single serving size, if not, grab only what you need and put the rest high up and out of sight
FLUCTUATE YOUR INTAKE. you cant eat 300 kcal every day, your metabolism will slow much quicker, go up to at least 800, even 1200 every so often (at least once a week)
fats are absorbed the slowest, this sounds scary, but if you’re eating good fats, like in eggs or avocados, that means the energy you get from these things will last longer. good fats do not make you fat
YOU NEED PROTEIN!!!
if you get sick, Gatorade is a really good idea, the extra cals are worth it
if you faint/feel faint, please eat something- at least 75 kcal and drink some water
keep a protein, fruit, nut, or fiber bar on you always, if you need to eat, you’ll have something safe
dont keep trying to work out if you collapsed
you are not invincible from developing health problems from this
dont develop a nicotine habit. just don’t.
if you don’t already suffer from an ed, do not start this stuff, you are not immune to developing one as a result. dont start calorie counting, don’t start restricting lower than 1,200, don’t keep looking at this stuff. if you get an ed you might get over it completely, but it’s probably never gonna leave completely, and in this case you’ll likely end up weighing more than when you started. you could spend the rest of your life in a cycle of relapse and remission. and you could just die as your friends and family watch you deteriorate. it’s not worth it.

If you're trying to lose weight remember that:
your problem areas won’t be the first to shed that weight, it will be either your face, your hands, your ankles etc
when you lose weight, you realize that you and shrek are very much alike, we have layers (of fat). you will not instantly lose weight on your belly, hips, thighs, arms, where ever it is that you’re trying to specifically lose weight from, you will lose weight all over, this is why it’s hard for us to notice weight loss
the last place you gained fat on is the first to lose that fat off, the first place you gained fat on will be the hardest to lose that fat off
don’t listen to the scale, those few pounds that never seem to leave or you have gained are probably muscle growth, get yourself measuring tape to calculate your weight loss
you see yourself every day, be aware that it’ll be hard for you to notice any difference, but trust me, everyone around you is seeing it happen
weight loss takes time, don’t give up so quick
