Sketches for my friends :: pt. 1

A friend of mine humored me in making a fursona based on him. This is my "straight", Christian, "furry hating" friend- who's insanely sweet, supportive, and incredibly smart, just in his own way. So despite the jokes he may make, I sent him the rough sketches and he gave them the thumbs up :)

There’s an undersketch for the wolf- it’s just my favorite from its sheer ridiculousness! He and I shared a laugh over it.

Sometimes you’ll find kindness and support in places you didn’t expect it.

Saving Commander

Hey yall, I found a story on Instagram that really resonated with me. I wanted to share this story here to encourage people to go and support them.

The story:

“This is my mother's horse Commander. He is the light of her life and soul horse. Every phone call starts with him and she always updates me how her races are going. The other night after we had a family dinner she found him soaking wet in the paddock and laying on in the snow. She managed to get him to a stall which he then collapsed. After calling an on-call vet out to examine him, she was told he was in a colic due to internal pain and they rushed him to the U OF M. They put him into emergency surgery and 15ft of intestines were removed as they were tangled inside of him due to him rolling. He is in critical condition and not guaranteed to survive. His organs are failing again and may need a second surgery. She cannot afford this. It is an estimated of 16-20k and climbing. I started a GoFundMe which is in my bio and ANY donations are appreciated. Using every platform I have to share this as I am desperate to prevent Commander from passing away and my mom being heartbroken. She just lost her soul dog a year ago as well. She's done everything for me my entire life and this is the least I can do for her.”

Eleanor is a friend of Lepus’ mother. Standing at a mighty 4’6”, Eleanor is a firecracker wine aunt with a silver tongue and a sharp wit! If it weren’t for Eleanor, Lepus’ momma may have cracked years ago thanks to those boys’ antics.

Tycho, or affectionately known as Lupus by his brothers, his Lepus’ brother. Lepus and Lupus were the first two to meet while in the system, one having been orphaned and the other having been taken from a neglectful family.

Requests for headcanons/drabbles rules:

It must be for one of my sonas, or one of my anthro characters.

Requests must be for no more than two characters at a time

Requests must follow all blog rules

They cannot be hyper-specific, if the request itself is a paragraph or two (at absolute most) then it will be ignored.

Any spam requesters will be blocked after their first warning.

I am a small, intermediate artist. I'm about to start college, and I need a way to help pay the bills. So I'm doing commissions as a way to ease some of my anxiety around money. Please never feel pressured to commission me!

Sketch (Traditional) - $2

These are like my more casual drawings of Lepus (the drawing above is of Bunny). See here, for more reference. These are full body, or bust, no color. These are cheap because I have to take a picture of them, and those don't always come out super clean!

Sketch (Digital) (Bust) - $3

I'm not as well versed with digital art, so the price is ever-so-slightly higher. This sketch can vary in style by your preference, and is from the shoulders up.

Sketch/line art (Digital) (Full or 2/3rds) - $5

These sketches tend to take me somewhat longer, hence the higher price.

Flat color (Digital) (Bust) - $6

Flat Color is mostly twice the price of a sketch, with rendering being slightly higher (depending on complexity of character)

Flat Color (Digital) (Full or 2/3rds) - $10

Same deal with the previous!

Rendered (Digital) (Bust) - $8

Render style can vary based on your preference!

Rendered (Digital) (Full or 2/3rds) -$12

Extras:

Extra characters are +$5 per character up to two extras

Backgrounds are an extra $3+ depending on complexity

More than one prop or more than three accessories is +$2

Depending on the complexity of your character, I may have to turn down your commission. I'm not willing to screw us both over by taking on a character I am not ready to draw.

Commission Rules

~General~

Payment is 50% upfront, to avoid scams or as guaranteed pay if you decide to turn down the art.

If you are unsatisfied with the result, you can turn down the art, but the upfront payment is nonrefundable.

You can use the art however you want afterwords, but please credit me.

"Final" product will have a watermark and noise over it until final payment, I'll remove the large watermark and noise once I receive the final 50% (Again, another safety measure to make sure I don't get scammed. I want to make sure the art is to your liking, but if you back out, I don't want to make it easy to back out and steal the finished piece)

I reserve the right to turn down any comissions

I will draw:

Slight gore

Ferals (nonsexualized)

If you want ship art, refer to my writing rules for what I will and will not draw (ship art is extra!) I am, however, willing to draw OC x Character
