The roar that sounded through the hollow chasm of the city reached him with ease, alerting him to the beast’s presence. Without looking, Xemnas could sense his mangled presence, and he immediately turned his head towards the other, looking with interest at what had become of his pet. Of course, Xemnas had known of the moon all along, and was more than aware of what would happen to the other, if allowed to draw power from it. Holding him up before he could escape was not a concern to him, however, this was not something he had anticipated.
"Well, this is unexpected," he murmured, watching Saix skid to a halt before he could reach the other. "It’s ill-advised to keep secrets from your master, mutt."
A streak of pride crossed his expression as he watched the disfigured creature struggle to escape him. He would excuse the other for the time being, in favor of investigating these new developments. He considered whether or not to pursue Saix, knowing the beast was far quicker, and though Xemnas could contain him if he got too close, that entirely depended on his proximity to his master, and whether or not he would allow himself to be caught.
His ears twitched, before laying back against his head, a snarl ripping from his throat. Desperately did he want to run away and escape, but he was trained. Terribly trained to be at his master's beck and call, no matter the situation. And directly did he disobey him by escaping from him when he was speaking, and now was he going to be punished. Beaten like a dog, like the monstrosity he was.
It was embarrassing. He was a mess. Mangled and disfigured paws, a thin, bony body bulging at the stomach, ribs pressing against his skin and flesh. Paws were large, sharp nails at the end, and they almost resembled long fingered hands other than an animal's feet. His face resembled a child's toy, as if his nose had been pulled far too much in a stretched, sagging expression, golden eyes sunken into his head, a sharp indent in his face from the scar. Shadows seared his flesh and fur, making him appear much more like a heartless than a being. A decrepit wolf.
Finally did he sneer a bit, slowly limping towards where Xemnas was, his ears pressing against the back of his head. A loyal mutt. The moon shone on his dark blue fur, and did he press his nose to the ground in a lowly bow, asking for forgiveness.
