“stop!”  she hissed silently, leaning a bit closer under a false pretense of grabbing her drink, when in reality she simply had to close the distance between them so that they could hear her clearly. at the same time she swatted their hand from under the table before the most innocent smile graced her face whilst the was listening to people on the other side. saying something… boring. but she must not think of the hand. must. NOT.

a small smirk curved on her lips when the other finally said something about her hand grazing her inner thigh during their little important business dinner. “stop what?” she questioned only loud enough for the other to hear, her brow raised. “just trying to make this a little bit more interesting.” her hand slid back onto the other’s thigh as she moved closer to the other, her lips close to her ear. “as beautiful as you look in that dress of yours, i just really want to get you out of it.”

Skylar froze, a deer in headlights at the woman’s question. For the most part, she was good at her job. And she liked it– she made decent commissions and knew that if she kissed the owner’s ass enough, he’d eventually help her get the design job she always wanted. 

But whenever a gorgeous woman walked through those doors, which happened often enough, it took her more than a few moments to gain enough composure to be able to form a coherent sentence. She just had to convince herself to focus on making the sale. “I’d go with the red,” she answered, somehow calmly as she pushed any lingering thoughts from her mind and forced a smile. “We’ll always have the black set. You can always come back for it. But the red was a special edition and we only have limited stock.” She nodded towards the back corner of the store. “I’ll go open up a room for you back there. Let me know if you need anything else.”

Honestly, Evan noticed the sales clerk right when she arrived to the shop. So why not ask for some assistance? And maybe have a flirty exchange. A smile curved on her lips as she nodded at the other’s suggestion. “Red it is then. You’ve sold me. But, I might have to come back for the black pair.” She commented as she placed the black pieces back into the rack before her gaze followed the other's directions to the back of the shop. "Oh, yeah. That'd be perfect." She smiled as she began to walk towards the fitting rooms, looking over at the other. “Well, I think I might need your help with another opinion after I try it on. Only if you don’t mind of course.”

“i’m sure they all already know that about you,” remy teased back, a shit-eating grin ever so present on her face. she followed her girlfriend over to the counter, hopping up on it and making herself comfortable. “ah, it’s nothing. i’m happy to come bring you lunch. it gives me an excuse to bug you at work,” she reasoned with a soft chuckle, reaching into one of the containers tyler had opened and stealing some fries. “plus… i get to distract you.” she raised her eyebrows suggestively, then popped the fries into her mouth. “you’ve been working so hard… i’m sure you could really use it, baby.”

"shut up.” rolling her eyes as she playfully pushed the other’s shoulder. “you always seem to find excuses to come see me.” tyler grinned before taking a bit of the sandwich, scrunching her face at the other’s next words. shaking her head as she began to respond to the other’s suggestive words. “babe. work. what if one of my employees just walked in. god that would be mortifying for everyone.”

“Actually, I didn’t. I’ve just been calling you Croissant Girl, but Logan is much more fitting,” Cecily teased, her grin widening as her head cocked slightly. She knew flirting with her customers probably wasn’t the best idea, but sometimes, she just couldn’t help herself. “I’m Cecily. And I have to say, Logan, you’re almost always my first customer of the day. Mind me asking what in the world you’re doing out here so early?”

"Croissant Girl, huh?” Logan chuckled at the other’s nickname for her. She was surprised the other actually noticed her, but then again that was kind of the reason why she kept going to the bakery so early and frequently. She would never admit it though. “Well, I’m glad I can finally match the name to the face.” Logan grinned, “Almost. I guess I have to work on that.” She joked, “Well, I have to commute to school, so I have to get myself a little pick me up before the whole day. Seeing you and getting my coffee and croissant definitely helps.”
