How The Arcane Characters Sing
He’s fairly decent at singing. (He used to sing to himself when he was younger to calm himself down.) He’ll get embarrassed if you catch him singing, since he sees it as more of a private thing, but if you ask nicely, he will sing to you. (He’s not immune to puppy dog eyes.) Pretty quiet when he sings, his voice shakes if he gets louder.
Not good, but not bad either. He’s really goofy when he sings, usually only doing it for fun. He’s prone to just screaming the lyrics, especially if he gets excited. (Like that one video of the guys singing Hey There Delilah) If you ask him to sing to you quietly, he won’t deny you, but his face gets a bit red. He’s not good at it, but he’s trying his best.
Pretty good at singing. She’s not the best, but her voice is very calming, so it makes up for it. Sings very loudly for fun/annoying people, sings quietly to comfort you. She used to sing to Powder when she would have a nightmare/episode. (She doesn’t mention it, but she sung to herself when she was in Stillwater, crying while imagining she was comforting Powder.) You won’t have to ask her to sing to you, she does it instinctually.
Her mom made her take singing lessons when she was younger, so she’s pretty good at it. Will only sing if you ask her to, but she only does it when no one else is around. If you ask her to sing when you’re upset on multiple occasions, she learns to do it automatically to calm you down. If you’re really upset in public, she’ll try to get you to a more private area, but if all else fails, she will push down her embarrassment and sing to you. (If you apologize for making her sing in front of other people, she will say it wasn’t a big deal.)
Sings All. The. Time. It’s endearing until you have work that needs to be done, because she will not stop for anything. (Honestly, she’ll probably get louder if you complain.) Very good at belting out notes. All the music she listens to is energetic and very loud, and she will blare it when she’s working. She’ll try to be quieter if you’re sleeping, but no promises. Her voice gets shaky if she sings quietly. (She’s not used to it, and it reminds her of… things.) She will not hesitate if you ask her to sing to you, no matter the setting. (She will hesitate if you ask her to sing quietly, though.)
Silco does not sing. (And he’s not too good at it either.) He will only sing on one circumstance, if you or Jinx asks him to. (You have to be alone though; he will not sing in front of other people.) He used to sing to Jinx when had nightmares, so he has some experience in comforting people that way. Only sings quietly, will not be loud for anything in the world.
Amazing at singing, loud or quiet. Will not hesitate to sing in public if you ask. (She honestly doesn’t give a shit about what other people think, you’re her number one priority.) Sings to herself when she’s busy, if you walk in on her singing, she’ll stop for a moment to greet you before continuing.
