I recently found out that when I wake up from a four hour nap with my love having joined me in bed, her intent coming into the room is to wake me up. Apparently I just look too cuddly and then she falls asleep too.

I am MARRIED, I have a LOVING, SUPPORTIVE wife, and I am SO LUCKY to have her. She is my anchor when I feel like I'm stuck in a tornado. She got a job so I could focus on school, even though she's the one who's built to be a housewife. She makes me laugh and smile and she's so beautiful and kind. She knows just what to say when I'm upset. She's makes me feel safe. I am SO GOSH DAMN LUCKY to have her!!

But like seriously, being married is so freaking awesome. My girl cares about me so much. She's so awesome. She puts in so much effort to make me happy and safe. And I get to put in effort and make her happy, too!!

I get to make her work lunches and surprise her with clean dishes, and I get to know her favorite foods and things she hates, I get to know every little part of her and she knows every part of me. I know what makes her feel better when she's sad and she knows what makes me feel better too.

And I get to talk to this girl EVERY DAY!! I get to hug her and braid her gorgeous hair and make her laugh. I get to lay on her and bite her and tell her everything I'm afraid of, and she makes the scary go away.

And she's so adorable, when she's in cute mode she makes the best faces where her face looks so soft and adorable (I know I'm describing this horribly but just know she's SO CUTE).

It's so amazing to have a relationship where you're wholly, completely bound together in your very souls, where your very selves have been wed as metal would be and you make each other stronger for it. To have someone who will unconditionally support you and who you can unconditionally support.

I love her so much and I can't express enough how glad I am to have her.

Going through the Horrors again. It's been four years since it happened and I feel worse every time I remember it. I feel further from healing than last time.

And yet, I have my darling wife. Who dumped chocolate chips into the pudding cuz she knew I needed more. Who folded and put away all the laundry even though that's my job. Who's sweeping without being asked. Who keeps coming in to randomly hug me and lets me lay on her for hours.

She's the only one who's stayed with me during this.
