Mika Zibanejad - Him and Chris are literally a married couple. Mika DJed Lollapalooza in Sweden this off-season and Chris flew out to attend, and when Chris got married to his wife this off-season Mika was his best man. Chris didn't have any groomsmen except for Mika (at least standing up near the altar) They always seem to find each other and are in gay love with each other
Steve Yzerman - Sergei (Fedorov) and spas. To this day, they are close and gush about one another. Steve is more circumspect. Sergei broadcasts his love at any opportunity. In 2019, he described the idea of working together again for the Red Wings as a fantasy of his and something he would LOVE to do. Conveniently, in the 90s until he sold it in 2016, Sergei's Miami penthouse had a rooftop swimming pool and a primary bedroom with a spa-like bathroom complete with a rain shower and soaking tub. Finally, you can't make this up: Sergei's mother and brother still live in Michigan. Steve worked as VP and GM for the Lightning from 2010-19. He very nearly became GM of the Red Wings in 2016. In 2019 he finally went home. They have and they probably still do when Sergei comes around. Inevitable Hollywood ending ahead.
