I’m not in the Monster High or Monster As Teenager adjacent fandoms, but has anyone done “Daughter of The Thing (1982)” and it looks like just a teenaged girl version of Kurt Russell? No tendrils, no tentacles, just a girl with this exact fit and hair
She swears that she isn’t the daughter of The Thing (1982). She’s a totally normal human you guys. She shouldn’t even be at this school. She likes normal human things like not having her blood tested.

today's fashion doll is: Barbie Haunted Beauty Zombie Bride (2015)
bat opens up their little bat wallet to find they are all out of moths. A worthless $100 bill flies out for emphasis
From top-of-frame, a month flutters into the wallet. Confused, the bat looks "up" to see an equally-confused human standing "above" her, holding an open wallet containing a single $100 bill.
Camera rotates to reveal bat has been hanging upside down above a human doing the exact same visual gag and each ruined the other's bit.
Laugh track.
NO CANON DYNAMIC YET. QUICK, THROW OUT HYPOTHETICALS
but what if they were friends
[id: 4 sketches of miles and spot. in the first, they’re both wearing civilian clothes; miles in his hoodie and jacket, and spot in a hoodie, glasses, mask, and hat. miles is gesturing to him, saying “this is my friend, …..patrick. he’s normal.” spot adds, “mhm. yep. just a normal, regular guy,” while doing the thumbs up. the second image is a comic, where miguel in full costume is running towards miles and spot. spot has his hands up defensively and is saying “uhhhh”. in the second panel, miles jumps into one of the spots and emerges above miguel to punch him in the face. spot hunches over defensively, screaming. the third drawing is also a comic, with miles going up to spot and saying “hey, man, we make a pretty good team!” spot responds, “heck yeah we do! high five!” but when miles high fives him, his hand goes through a spot, jabbing spot in the back of the head. he says “OW” as miles says “oooh, sorry.” the final drawing is of miles and spot sitting together, eating hot dogs and chatting. end id]

The imagery in this - Felix, my heart :( And the way it was all done in those white suits / masks, like they were blank sheets for others to draw upon.... When he finally takes off the mask and shows his true face, then faces the 'camera' directly and asks when why his father didn't love him, it's just so powerful. This was one of the most moving scenes they have ever done.
Chat uses Cataclysm twice before being mature enough to use it as many times as he wants like adult users can.
i think we really need to address this because as we stand in the show/narrative, saying gabriel isnt abusive is actually scary.
this tweet is originally from january 26th 2022, and is talking about kuro neko. gabriel is abusive. point, blank, period. maybe thomas was trying to be vague enough to not reveal how bad the abuse gets, but from everything he’s said about adrien in the past (stating that his hardship was losing a parent, and not mentioning gabriel whatsoever), i dont think thats what he was doing.
but gabriel. agreste. is. abusive.
it is NOT NORMAL for gabriel to speak to chat noir the way he did, projecting his feelings about adrien onto him. the way he isolates adrien, controls his friends, his schooling, his image being put out into the world– his entire life. that. is. abusive.
and it truly honestly makes me worry 1. about what research they’re doing in regards to the abuse backstory relating to felix, and 2. where gabriels story is headed in general. nothing about the way he acts is okay, and the fact that thomas doesn’t see the way gabriel was written as abusive is BAD.
I adored this:
idk how to make this into a funny silly jokey-joke sry but i just wanna mention that i spent that whole adrien-actally-no-felix/marinette chase scene thinking about this
If you only knew.
Bonus:
(At the comic-con Natlalie is running in the Black Widow´s costume throughout the building because she lost two rich kids and doesn´t want to get fired.)
I know this is a Cat Blanc allusion, but it being red this time reminded me of the red moon Felix made - a clear sign that Adrien is 'seeing red' here, the whole world coloured by his rage.
