A friend and I have a particular headcanon about Dragon Quest XI, namely that Serena is Tall™

See, her and Jade have models that are the same height, but the thing is, Jade wears heels, whereas Serena... does not. And so @lesbiangemma and myself had been musing over 'what if Serena decided to wear heels one day,' and then this happened! I haven't drawn anything related to Dragon Quest for years now, but it looks like my own style handled them well enough.

Thank you!! I’m doing pretty good. Ive been on break from work for a week (the school district is closed for spring break) but I’m going back tomorrow. I’m feeling better now that I’m a music major I think that I’ll like it more than being an art major so I’m feeling a bit more optimistic and don’t want to drop out of college as much anymore lmao

so i know ur away for a while but i just got an ad for the english dub of cookie run kingdom and it looks so good

Bro I actually really like it the English dub gets way too much hate. Like to me some of the voices don’t fit in my opinion (partially bc I am used to the Korean voices) but the voice acting isn’t bad?? Like. The voice actors are talented ppl are just mean. I was hoping for some of the characters to have accents tho I feel like that would be fun. No one will convince me that espresso isn’t British.

any update on college?

I just impulsively dropped out of 4 of my classes and changed my major 😌 I’m a music major now because I love being poor apparently and I’m prob gonna be a viola player?? I’m better at violin and can’t read alto clef despite playing viola for 3 years but whatever. Also I’ve been working at an elementary school for like 5 months now? Which is cool, tiring but I enjoy it

Ummmm ok college starts tomorrow so I probably won’t be here much and definitely won’t be posting art much at all

I also got a phone interview (?? Or smth) at Starbucks which I’m happy about! I’m really hoping to get a job soon, but with a job, college, and my hour and a half commute to school I’m gonna have like. Pretty much no free time lol

Omg wait yes I love that. I’ve never rly liked coffee shop AUs cuz I just like. Order my drink and leave sjfjskf so they felt so unrealistic (but like. So are most AUs so,) but it would be cute with her tbh and Serena goes there a lot and it’s 🥺🥺

Serena: Always orders something including what Gemma has come to learn are called the Gay Ingredients™; is apparently oblivious to the status of her drink of choice and Gemma's gay panic staring

Jade: Always gets some form of chai latte and gets Gay Ingredients™ whenever Gemma is serving her

Veronica: Actively refuses to order a drink, but will get some kind of pastry or dessert

Erik: Keeps asking if they have anything with alcohol in it, but relents when Eleven orders for him

Eleven: Quiet and indecisive, usually gives up and just gets a grande caramel macchiato for him and Erik

Sylvando: Venti blonde roast latte (five shots of espresso) with whipped cream and enough sugar that Gemma looks mildly horrified at the thought of serving it to anyone

Rab: Hot chocolate that he sneaks a few shots of rum into when nobody's looking

Hendrik: Venti Pike Place Roast, hot and black, never deviates

Jasper: Is banned from the facilities because he keeps on picking a fight with Hendrik without even ordering anything first; returns almost daily anyway
