HA-SODOT (THE SECRETS)

A daughter of an orthodox jewish rabbi convinces her father to let her go to a (i honestly dont know sorry) comunity college before getting married. In a subsociety that values marriage, family, modesty and above all religion the most, it seems as though her rebellious friend makes her reconsider some of her relligious beliefs.

Most of the story revolves around an ill woman who was shunned by the synagoge, who longs to be cleansed spiritually before dying. These two “friends” have decides to help her with this.

This is a very well writen movie and the ending will really get you sitting on the edge of your seat. It goes to show once again that you can only supress homosexuality. However it is simply how some are born, so even in a strict religion like this, some will find that love is undeniable.

Set in 1954, two girls meet in an high school and become best "friends". The funny thing is that because of the conservative culture the movie is set in no one even questions their "friendship" until litterally one hour in the movie.
