Are these people hearing themselves? Like hey I get it navigating mental illness/neurodivergence is hard work and helping someone navigate it can also be difficult, I'm not out here defending anyone who is an asshole and happens to have a mental illness/be neurodiviergent, but the way people will claim to not perpetuate negative stereotypes of mental illness just to turn around and be assholes to mental illness and neurodivergence that aren't cute

Just use selfish or self centered!! The English language has so many other words to use!!
