Edwin's love confession and Charles's subsequent response are two of the best things to happen in this overarchingly wonderful show. Like, even after being eaten by Baby Doll Spider all day, Edwin's breath is still hitching when he breathes out that I love you. This is still scary because Hell isnt the unthinkable. Losing Charles is. But he trusts him anyway, and he's vulnerable with him anyway, because that's how deep and steady his love is. And Charles, he has NEVER been so sure of anything as he is that he loves Edwin and would only go to Hell for him. No one else. The shape of the love doesn't matter as much as the fact of it to Charles.
