Hey all! I've got less than 3 months left in Indonesia before heading home so I'm trying to document some stuff that were important to my life here. I'm currently living and teaching in Demak, Central Java. This first picture is probably the best photo I've taken in Demak (not that I take many photos) and the best photo I've probably ever taken so I figured it'd be a good way to introduce y'all to my site. This is my route both to school and to the town square where I (try to) exercise each morning. It's usually pretty cloudy in the morning and in the couple weeks before this photo was taken rainy season was hitting hard so this was definitely stood out and was easy to appreciate when I saw it. Demak is pretty flat and inland so view-wise it is at it's best here. Anyways I'll be trying to post pics daily and will use those an opportunity to go into more of what I'm doing here, how I'm living here, the people involved in my life and how Demak/Central Java has been for me as a place to live and work.
