Phil: We were quite lucky. We found each other and-

Dan: This is your power. This is your agency as human beings.
Phil: You found me physically.
Phil: You found me, but we had a lot in common. And we had similar senses of humour. And we're both quite chill, I'd say.
Phil: I think you've got to be quite accepting of other people's behaviours and personalities.
Dan: That's an insane way to make it sound like I'm an asshole.
Phil *louder*: I didn't mean that!
Dan: I'm going to take this one. You got to start with friendship.
Dan: I think that the problem with a lot of like straight men, and this is #notallmen, I've talked about this, I don't like generalising people, we can rant about this on the podcast at some point-
Dan: You don't have to be a "Man" just because you are, you know what I mean?

Dan: They target people just for their looks. Like I only want a sexual or romantic partner and that's why I'll pursue someone. You've got to like the other person. Is that crazy? Is that actually crazy? You've got to tolerate.
Phil: You've got to like them for more than just the kissing. You know what I mean?
Dan: You've got to like them for more than the breasts. The voluptuous, voluptuous rack.
Phil: Because a lot of people have been like, I can't wait for my significant other to go away, so then I can hang out with my friends!
Dan: My wife's gone. Time for boys night! Why aren't you doing DnD with your wife?
Dan: Now, that doesn't necessarily have to be the case for everybody. Lots of people enjoy their time apart and what they have together. I think we just-
Phil: I'm not saying people shouldn't go have their own interests and hobbies, I'm just saying you shouldn't be doing that hobby like, oh thank fuck my significant other is no longer in my room.
Dan: As we found with that earlier question, you need to find someone who your favourite activity is doing separate activities in the house and just knowing that they're there.
