#RupertGraves shares his thoughts on #SherlockPBS: The Abominable Bride!
“I’m really looking forward to seeing the special because the script, I have to say, is, I think, the best that I’ve had.”
Rupert’s Top 3 Lestrade moments in Sherlock [x]
The Cell in The Sign of Three
The Hug in The Empty Hearse

I want to purchase Inspector Lewis on DVD or Bluray and, since the PBS behind the scenes interviews aren't working for Falling Darkness anymore, while I'm at it I'd like to make sure I'm getting the discs that include the interview with Rupert. Do you know if the Region 1 DVD includes the behind the scenes stuff or where I can find it? I do have a region-less DVD player. Thanks for your time!
Hi - that’s a shame the PBS interviews are no longer available :(
The Region 1 Masterpiece Mystery DVD on Amazon for Season 3 (which is actually the UK’s season 4) say they don’t include any extra features. The full box set of seasons 1-6 does include Behind the scenes features and interviews but I couldn’t say for certain if that includes the bits with Rupert. Maybe someone else out there already owns them and can confirm? (I know lestrabbit had a DVD including that interview - not sure which region/release that was.)
Hi there, I have a hunch that I should check tumblr today. and I was right, happen to see my name here XDD .
The dvd I have is the UK version too, so I’m afraid no BTS included. but I do have a download copy of those PBS interviews. Let me know if you want it.
Happy Silver Fox Saturday!

It is absolutely true that when Rupert came in to audition, he gave us a version of Lestrade we weren’t expecting, which was a really good copper. A copper whom you believe could be the star of another series in which, presumably, he fails to solve crimes.“ You have to accommodate your casting. "I think Sherlock and John are just a bit resentful because they know Lestrade is more handsome than them – Benedict and Martin certainly are!
Steven Moffat at SDCC 2015 when asked “Was Lestrade written as more likeable in the series because that was best for the show, or because Rupert was so charming?“ via DigitalSpy
He also described Rupert as “the most attractive man in the world” :)

Hahahhhhhh, true XD
did anyone see the resemblance?
3 of Rupert’s best bits of the IGN Interview where he discusses the bush sized chops on Lestrade’s face plus his role in the special and if Moffat should wear trousers or shorts today. Plus an absolutely adorable laugh at the end :)
I leave you with this - from this site where you can find several others… Go wild ;)
I’m off to bed!
