So, I’ve decided that until I see Gina again in DGS 2, this blog will be on hiatus. I’ll be honest, my muse for her has disappeared. Hence why I haven’t been doing much here.

However, my Ryu muse is still here (even though I may have neglected him for a few days), so till then you can hmu @oricnted!! <3

Once Gina put away her gun, Robin smiled in a friendly manner, as if she hadn’t just threatened Gina. “Oh believe me, I saw that you had your gun over your shoulder. I was just telling you what would happen if you did decide to point your gun at me. B-u-t, since you put it away this will go much more smoothly!”  

When Gina asked Robin to introduce herself, the prosecutor of course decided to it in the most dramatic fashion possible, hand on hip and pointer finger swishing about. “Oh, I didn’t introduce myself! How r-u-d-e of me. My name is Robin Newman, a prosecutor from America! I traveled here to London as part of an exchange program. So what’s your name?” 

“Please. Do you think I’m stupid enough to do that? I’ve faced the Reaper. I know what you prosecutors are like.” she scowled, eyes closed, her tone haughty. Van Zieks was the only prosecutor she’s faced, so of course, her explanation was entirely accurate.

So, Robin Newman was her name. What a weird name. “...Gina Lestrade, ex-pickpocketer. I’m trying to turn over a new leaf from my past life. So, you came here from America? What’s it like?” She’s never been abroad, after all.

Nodding in acknowledgement, Sherlock idly concluded it himself as a positive, as there would be room for debate, couldn’t give him a clean-cut answer, he didn’t mind though. She was almost unpredictable, to say in the least, saying one thing but then coming to be the utmost contradiction.❛ Alright, I’ll be sure to let her know once I get back to her. ❜ In addition of his words could’ve been insisting for her to remain there for the night too if she wished, but did not bring it into attention – he had a feeling Iris would ask – well, convince her to do so anyways. She loved the company when it wasn’t just him and her doing their ordinary thing half of the time unless she was desiring something new to do that he could give. 

Maybe one day she’ll actually like Holmes. No doubt Iris will help with that, of course. She always despised him, no thanks to his silly ‘tactics’ or alledged flawless logic. She was being nice to him for a change. No banter or snarky comments. What was wrong with her?

“Could I...” Her voice was below a whisper. Breathing in, she finally found the words to say and spoke up, “Could I stay the night, too? I have my friends at the alley, but we don’t really have a house to stay at...”

Inspirationless: where you have the motivation but just can't think of anything good to write.

Motivation Deprived: you have the idea, but just, don't really wanna.

Pooped: Basically you have no ideas and don't really feel like writing anyways.

Procrastination: Where you are SO PUMPED TO GET THIS THING DONE!! But, there's that other thing, and, your show is on, and, you'll just do it tomorrow.

She – really wasn’t going to make today easy for him. He was well aware she disliked him every time he came into appearance and spewed words in her direction - not meaning anything to bother her. Scarcely he was bewildered to what he did that triggered her very hostile nature towards him. However – it never came into conclusion she disdained him this much. Frankly, he was nearly at a lost for words consisting a blank stare.

He had no problem addressing the fundamentals in his perspective. ❛ In a way – it is. The logic following in the ‘Theater of Logic and Deductions’ is flawless; I merely make it a habit to mess up the events linking up the process of how a crime is likewise committed. Doesn’t mean I’m not a great Detective, Ms. Gina. I give Mr. Naruhdou the chance to put it back in the proper position that makes better sense than my previous annotation. ❜, due to how quickly Sherlock could find the inconsistencies of ones statement while in a scene, he could not overwhelm someone much younger and less experienced with 100% accuracy words without giving him a shot of a chance. 

Gina waited for his reply with the ever so boastful expression on her face. He was bothered by her honesty -- she was sure of that. She liked butting in and making him feel bad, as he should.

“...I suppose. But a true Great Detective shouldn’t even have a habit of making idiotic mistakes, just to make someone else point them out.” She realised that nobody was perfect, but honestly, this was the only thing that made sense to her. True, she wasn’t perfect herself, nor did she like detectives who were acting high and mighty. But still. He should know better. “You merely got lucky that you’re practically a celebrity now, Holmes.”

When the Chief Prosecutor Miles Edgeworth asked Robin to accompany her to London as part of an exchange program, she had been so excited- the young prosecutor always wanted to see the sights around the world! Unfortunately, the only sight she was seeing right now was a grimy alley, forced to babysit a female pickpocket. 

¨I´m not going anywhere until I get some answers about the report I just got!¨ Robin exclaimed. ¨I was sent here because you threatened some boys with a gun. So are you going to explain yourself, Miss Lestrade?¨

She huffed in reply and kept walking, ignoring the young prosecutor completely. It wasn’t any of his business, so why should he care? But then, a few minutes later, she had a change of heart, stopping in her tracks. With the gun in her hand, she turned to the man.

“If you want an explanation that badly, I’ll tell you. They threatened me first, and wouldn’t stop talking nonsense about me. So, I decided to pay them back. Is that a crime? You’d do the same, right?”

Unfortunately for the pickpocket, once Robin set her sights on something, she never gave up. So the young prosecutor continued to follow Gina, up until Gina drew her gun. 

However, Robin didn’t so much as bat an eyelash at the gun. Instead, Robin said, “Well, no. That would be a case of self-defense, and I would do the same. But pointing a gun at a prosecutor would be a crime, and I’d snap you r-i-g-h-t up! So if I were you, I’d put that away and we can discuss this calmly.” Robin was not about to fail at her first task here in London.

A frustrated sigh left the blonde’s lips. Did this prosecutor have horrible eyesight? If so, she better get them checked because she clearly wasn’t aiming it at her-- just over her shoulder. But she did as told and put it away.

“Hmph. You see? It makes sense now, doesn’t it? Oh, by the way, I was just holding the gun over my shoulder. I don’t use it needlessly.” she spoke. “...What was your name again?”

London was the sight of her finest kill. The statue of Mondatta was newly erected in gold. Heh…It’s like a tribute to my best kill…

If the pickpocket grabbed anything from the coat pockets, they’d find nothing of real importance, bar a few coins. 

Her pocket hidden under her coat on her leg held a venom mine. Something that’d suffocate and poison the fool who set it off. Her inside pocket held an antidote in case she herself needed it.

The ex-pickpocket was out for another stroll of sorts, having nothing to do since Iris and Holmes were preoccupied with a case she apprently wasn’t allowed in. What’s with those two, anyway? Iris was a good friend, but Holmes... she was never fond of him.

She despised detectives who were always full of themselves. Noisy, too. Well, at least she could hope this day would be normal.
