Issue 1: Pet Project - Blurb
Io has been on the run for six months, travelling across Eshald with barely any money and only Asmodeus— the Lord of the Nine Hells— as a constant travelling companion. Whilst camping one night, alone by the river, Asmodeus speaks to the young half-elf in her dreams; telling her that her deepest desire can be found by following the current to the mining town of Ironfork.
Using the last of her gold, Io arrives in Ironfork at a time of transformation: the new guild building is being readied for adventurers, but one it’s labourers has gone missing. As Io takes on the quest to find this missing builder, she meets Foxhunter— a human man with an easy smile and five foot longsword— and the two are drawn together as they compete to find the missing labourer first.
What they find instead, however, undermines the sleepy nature of Ironfork and will follow them for the rest of their lives.
Issue 1: Extract
Asmodeus came to Io in her sleep.
That night, like so many others, she camped far alone on the riverbank. Io used her satchel as a pillow and her cloak as a blanket, and she stared at the sky and looked for stars in the dark crack that split the cosmos, until each bead of light blurred together and disappeared. After months of travelling, she was grateful for the summer air, but also for the cooling breeze that blew in from the river and lulled her to the edge of sleep.
But it was not the river’s fingers, which brushed the hair from her face, and it was not the summer’s night which warmed her side like sitting beside an open flame.
“Soon, Io’elena,” His voice whispered softly into her ear. She didn’t dare to open her eyes; the clawed fingers that softly parted her hair could so easily slit her throat. If Asmodeus had wanted to be seen, he would have come before she had shut her eyes.
“Soon?” She echoed; her voice barely audible above the rushing of the water.
“Soon.” He promised, “follow the river, and you will find something to satiate the ache in your chest.” Asmodeus withdrew his hand from her hair and tilted her chin upwards. “But if he is the hunter, will you be the fox?”
“I won’t—I won’t let him hunt me. What do you mean? What do I need?” Io asked, and rose from her makeshift bed. The hand from her chin vanished, and she opened her eyes at last. But all that was left of Asmodeus was the scent of sulphur and a smattering of ashes that were carried on the wind.
Io clutched her cloak to her chest, feeling the bristling of fur against her cheek. With her free hand, she thumbed at the ends of her hair. Many people had likened it to fire—and they weren’t wrong—but fox?
“But what does it mean?”

Back at it again with some more pictures from portsmouth comic con of my Jester cosplay! When I made this, I had such a crazy time trying to figure out how everything would come together-- making my first corset was definitely a process that involved some blood and a lot of tears. But I’m so proud of how it turned out, and I’m still so amazed that I won the cosplay competition!
Went to Portsmouth comic con solo, so all I got was a whole bunch of selfies. But hey I won the cosplay carnival, so ya’ girl is officially good at something!

Dead ass tho. We sometimes forget, collectively as a group of people observing this franchise, that there are nasty dance clubs all over the Star Wars universe. The Galaxy. An entire system of worlds. There are places that play shitty dance remixes for 12 hours and where cross fraction hook ups probably happen every night.
Do not forget this. Beyond Tatooine, beyond stuffy meeting halls, the palaces of royalty, a storm trooper probably just had his 3rd drink and he’s bout to get the best dick of his life from something with 4 arms. He’s living the dream. Do not forget him.
