Welcome to this synastry post. With this I intend to talk about those aspects that could seem tense and about which many have dedicated themselves to simply talking about the dark side without talking about the other side of the coin. I do not intend to sugarcoat these placements, simply to say their good side as long as both do their part. I won’t talk about each aspect, just the ones that are usually pointed out as very tense or irremediable. This aspect is usually the target of hate for many who are just beginning their path to astrology, seeing them as incompatible, especially those who square. On occasions, for many the idea of being very different from someone makes them somewhat blind to the other things that make them similar.
The good point of these aspects is that both can show the other new things, they can help each other discover certain sides of their personality. Perhaps showing them traits of themselves that they didn't know they had, or simply opening them up to being able to be those sides of themselves that aren't out of shame or fear. I have heard a lot about these aspects, especially the "you do not meet their beauty standards”, which seems very crude and somewhat ridiculous to me, since it is an empty meaning.
Being an aspect of the Sun and Venus indicates a theme of personality and fascination. What this aspect can tell us is that the two of you may be the first person that the other notices in terms of personality [for example, let's say that one of you is usually interested in very cheerful, outgoing people who they love to party, however, the other is rather introverted, serious and more of a homebody]. It's not that "you don't meet their beauty standards", since we're talking about the Sun that doesn't exactly tell us about the body, rather about the personality. They may have many differences between the two, be it in attitude, tastes or interests. Both of you can help each other see beauty in things you don't usually see it in, and if you're open-minded, the differences between you won't be too difficult for you. In the case of an opposition, you may find these differences between you something very appealing and interesting, you may even have the impression that the other complements you in those attitudes or interests that you feel you do not have. I can imagine why a lot of people look unhappy seeing this aspect, since if having it in a natal chart can feel like a tiring ride, some think the same goes for a synastry chart. When in fact this aspect in this card is something that you do not have to deal with alone, since the relationship belongs to both of you, and if you both are equally focused or just love each other, this aspect can have a totally different connotation.
Saturn's keywords are not only coldness, restriction or karma, they are also commitment and stability. This relationship can be very serious from the beginning, loyalty and durability are usually the most favorable points of these aspects. Both may seem to be people of a different nature, Saturn person being much more controlled and private, while the Moon person is usually the emotional and sensitive one, this does not always have to collide, since the Saturn person is fascinated and touched by sweet, attentive and warm nature of the Moon person, may even want to protect and provide stability and support to the other person. In the case of the Moon person, they are delighted with how reliable the Saturn person is. They love that feeling of finally being able to trust someone and feeling that there is someone who is finally honest with them. We make the mistake of justifying certain behaviors with astrology, when in reality everything depends on our maturity.
