I'm really confused about what house I would be in. Because in all of my house quizzes I always get ravenclaw as my house. But ravenclaws are supposed to be super clever right?? I mean my average grade is a B. And Ravenclaws are supposed to love education and learning and all that but tbh I couldn't be bothered about school (as in I don't really do my homework and study for exams). So I'm really confused. Could you help me?

If there’s one thing I’d like people to take from this blog it’s the fact that you don’t have to be academically intelligent to be in ravenclaw. 

Firstly, ravenclaws admire knowledge and strive to pursue it. This doesn’t necessarily mean they actually are smart. And secondly, intelligence comes in lots of different forms which is why ravenclaw places such a large emphasis on creativity and individuality.

So what if your average grade is a B? Maybe you’re an incredibly talented artist, maybe you’re a skilled musician, maybe you love exploring other cultures, maybe you’d rather spend your time learning about things that actually interest you rather than the mundane topics covered in school. Intelligence doesn’t just have one form and ravenclaws admire originality so much more than being able to memorise passages of text and spew them out in an exam

Ravenclaw is about so much more than grades; it’s about acceptance, inspiration, and ingenuity, so don’t ever feel like you wouldn’t fit in based on some letters on a page. 

There are so many other things that define you.

a friend of mine told me about her friend i think from high school who was gay but not out, and he pretended for a while to have a girlfriend named Amanda who he would go see a lot, and they’d be all, come hang out with us and he’d be like sorry I’ve got a date with Amanda, and they were like when are we gonna meet this Amanda??? anyway he kept this up for like a year until he finally came out; and when his friends were like, “wait, what about Amanda?” he said, “IT’S A MAN, DUH.”
