But I don't want to get on the treadmill. I'm tired. It's late. It's Friday. I'd rather just lay in bed and pin stuff from my phone............ I did it anyway. It wasn't easy but it felt good when I was done. - Amanda
I'll take 1/3 blueberries, 1/3 of that banana and 1/3 of the strawberries, please.
Spent some time on the treadmill today! 46 minutes and about 37 of that was running. Got to my FitBit goal before 4! Felt great.
Peanut butter, bananas, wheatables. Sweet treat less than 200 calories and full of protein.
Our thoughts exactly.
What we've learned
Jody: Yesterday was a cheat day, and I had Chinese in this authentic place in Charlotte. I had milk bubble tea -- I've not had milk since the beginning of January --and I felt horrible.
Me: Isn't it amazing how food can make us feel like that? Like pasta...I love it, but it don't love me.
Jody: Here's what I've learned since going 95% Vegan -- that's what I'm calling it, or 6-day Vegan -- food really does make you feel good or make you feel like crap, and the things that are artificial, i.e. gluten and sweeteners, are addictive. So when people are all, "food doesn't matter" they are wrong.
Me: I totally agree. What I've learned about calorie counting and making better food choices? Just because it's "low calorie" doesn't' mean it's better for you. Sometimes a handful of higher calorie naturally made food is better for you. Anything "low cal" that is not naturally so has to be made that way through chemical changes in the food. IT'S SCIENCE!
We're into splurging around here.
Get in Shape, Girl
I"m sorry, but who didn't want a Get in Shape Girl kit back in the 80s?
