this is absolutely wild but i just found this account. if anyone is still following, i’ve not only been on t for over a year but also as of early feb have had top surgery!! i also have an informal referal for bottom surgery in the works :D

uuuuh it’s been super long but this boy managed to have his first and second gic appointments AND has the go ahead for t as long as his eye condition doesn’t mess things up !!!!!!!!

Ahhh I'm so done with waiting! It's been 4 months I just want my referral now so I can get on T before uni ;-;

I don't know a lot about your situation so I can't really say what you can do. Maybe just wait it out a few days, see if you feel better. I think a lot about letting the world know your true trans self comes hand in hand with patients. I hope things work themselves out!

It’s been a while and it hasn’t been very productive.

I went to the barbers for the first time because cutting my own hair wasn’t… cutting it lmao. But in reality I gave myself a bald patch and had to wear a hat for a week before I could get it sorted professionally.

I changed my name officially on the 14th March, which was honestly the best thing ever!

I was referred to the GIC a few months back but it could take up to a year to hear from them. I’m not excited about this wait…

It's been over 5 months since I asked my GP to refer me to a GIC and I still haven't even had a referral to a psychiatrist (which I apparently need to get funding??) I'm stressing so much about this because my goal was to try an get on T by summer next year and that's looking less and less of an option :(

I started college properly today and everyone called me Jake and he (apart from one person who I think was a genuine accidental one like mixing up words). It was great !!

So, the other day I came out to everyone on facebook and the responses have been so positive wow!

Going shopping with my mum tommorow, I'm very nervous to be going into the mens section but I can't wait!! I hope I pass enough though ahh!

I got a much needed haircut yesterday. I look much more masculine and am hoping I pass as a cis male much easier!
