There’s this bit in Magyk where Simon joins his family in their hiding place in the Forest/Galen’s tree House. While they’re there, DomDaniel conjures a storm and I’ve always wondered what kind of interactions went down then, especially having in mind what Simon had gone through and what he ended up doing.

I watched The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance, and loved it so much I made an oc for it :) Their name is Sihone, and they are of the Sifa clan

I love the way Angie Sage will throw little vulnerable facts about her villains or unpleasant characters. I.e, it’s mentioned how Merrin looked longingly at a family having dinner and how he felt alone and small watching all the castle lights and knowing none of the people inside had a thought for him. Jillie Djinn was happy after Septimus hugged her (out of relief) because she doesn’t get hugs often. In Sandrider, the Lady thinks bitterly about how everyone but her seems to have something special about them.

None of this things are ever used to justify their actions. They’re just bits of information but they add so much depth to the characters.
