That’s the spirit - BRING ME THE HORIZON  / 2015

I am a long-time fan of Bring me the Horizon and I was there when they have completely changed after 'There’s Hell Believe Me...’ to ‘Sempiternal’ and I was one of those fans who didn’t criticize them or say they gave in to some pop influence or anything, I mean that’s great when bands change their genre or style and yet remain something you wanna listen to. 

It is not that easy to take a risk to reverse into different genre but keep this something only BMTH have.

So THAT’S THE SPIRIT is rad.

I’ve been listening to it like for the last week and I can’t listen to anything / anyone else.

In this post I want to express deep gratitude to the person who had the idea of creating Harry Potter World in the UK in his / her mind.

I am a huge fan of Harry Potter /potterhead uh-huh/ and I thought of it as of my sort of obligation to visit Warner Bros. Studios in the UK. I was extremely excited to visit such place, because Harry Potter books and films have very significant place in my heart.  And seeing how my favorite story was being made all these times was something inexplicable, but very close to the word happiness.

The studio is divided into several blocks, which are based in the different rooms of Hogwarts, in which visitor can find everything that’s been used in films : costumes, requisites, cars, clothes, wands, etc.

or also how the creatures were /being/ made (the sketches of Voldemort, Basilisk, mermaids, etc), or models of well-known buildings (such as Dursleys’ house or Potters’ mansion in Godric Hollow), so you can find practically everything there and due to this it’s so simple to feel the atmosphere of the films and imagine you are the part of it. I mean I have always felt like i was a part of it cuz I’ve been with Harry and his firends since the very beginning until the very and, but the place itself is so magical that you have no doubts anymore of that there is still a letter from Hogwarts coming for you /it’s just very, veeeery late/

So these posts are all about Harry Potter Warner Bros. Studios tour I have visited.

The first thing you see before entering the studio is Harry’s small room in Dursleys’ house where he spent 12 years of his life. There are such little things as his toy soldiers, or his boots, and all the other little things that once belonged to Harry.

After entering you stand in front of huge gates with the enormous statues which were guarding Hogwarts in the last part.

And then finally we enter the very first room of the Studio Tour.  

The first room visitors get into is probably one of the most remarkable places in the whole School of Witchcraft and Wizardry - the dining room. Although the original dining room, where were taken all the scenes, is located in Oxford, the Warner Bros. studios decided too add this room as an ‘extra’ one, so you could freely pass through the halls where Nearly Headless Nick was terrifying students.

After the Dining Room you get into the enormous hall where all the other rooms are combined. 

There are also all the make up tools  and the sketches of Sirius’ appearance (there are a lot of sketches which in small details show us how all the characters were made and how unique they actually are).  

So on one level you can possibly see the Gryffindor bedrooms, Dumbledore’s office and Lupin’s small cabinet.

On the same level there are a lot of stands with different little things which played a special important role in every Harry Potter movie. For example an impressive stand with the wands of the main characters (which I must say are stunning, because I have never seen them that closely and never noticed aby details). And all the equipment from the Goblet of Fire film and the Prisoner of Azkaban and practically from all other films and it is so meaningless to list all of them, because you can see everything in the pictures, lol. 

There is also a Gryffindor living room, which looks as cosy as it looked in the films.

On the same level there are also a room /house/ of Hagrid and Wisleys’ house.

There are so many little peculiarities in every room and every model of house which make these rooms /aka house/ even more pretty. It looks just the same with the films and honestly when you are there, standing in the centre /or just in front of/ these rooms it’s hard to believe and realize that you have seen everything on the screen. /may be because I still believe in this story and it makes it impossible in my mind that all of this is actually fake and never happened/

And of course you find yourself in the heart of Ministry of Magic. There you can find an enormous statue of the Column which squashes muggles. /Art in the Magic World/. 

Also there are some clothes that belonged to professor Ambridge /admit it you hated her ever more then Voldemort/ and a small piece of her office.

After Ministry of Magic there is a path to the outdoors. There are several big showpieces such as Tom Riddle monument from the graveyard, the bus which gave Harry Potter a lift in the ‘Prisoner of Azkaban’, the bridge from Hogwarts,  Dursleys’ house and Potters’ house (unfortunately I couldn’t take a picture as everyone decided to stand there and stare at walls :( ) and some chess figures from the very first part. /nostalgic tears/
