The girlfriend experience
> Any man who has ever had a girlfriend can attest to this.
> This is just too good. Animation, adorableness, substance. I really hope there are more of these.
It’s too adorable not to reblog again.

I want a Corgi puppy more than anything in the world right now. I want to dress it up in cute little sweaters and cuddle with it and have it be my baby and love it.
Yesterday morning, I noticed some dark dry crusties in both of Rhys’ ears and I got really worried that he had an ear infection even though he didn’t seem in pain or was acting different. I decided to take him to the vet near our regular vet that has Sunday appointments/emergency service to get him checked out.
As usual, Rhys loved the vet because he got a lot of attention and belly rubs from everyone. The vet and vet tech wanted to run away with him lol (they said they see corgis but not ones as young as him). He loved running around and exploring the exam room, too. Such a curious little boy! I laughed really hard when he did a double jump over the exam table’s base which was shaped like side-by-side hurdles - I think someone might have a future in agility haha.
Overall, he’s fine. The vet took a sample of the crusties and said there was a bit of an infection that she saw under the microscope so she prescribed some drops and gave us some cleaning solution. The crusties are more on his outer ear flaps and not inside his ear canal thankfully so it isn’t a bad infection, if at all. Hopefully it’ll clear up quickly. I need to be more diligent about cleaning them and drying them properly so he doesn’t have worse problems. He hates it when I touch his ears so closely though so that’ll be a challenge. He was really mad when the vet had to take her samples lol.
(The other people in the waiting room also got a kick out of seeing him in his crate. One couple came up to us and asked us a lot of questions about him because they were thinking about getting a corg in the future, how fun!)
