A Title Is Worth A Thousand Words || Open Starter.
At her explanation, the prince watched her, purple eyes fixed upon this girl in front of him, genuinely interested. So he was dealing with somebody famous from the internet. If anything he’d learnt from the internet, it was you will have countless fanpages if you are a prince. If you are a pirate prince, you will have even more. And that was a little bit freaky for him. So he generally stayed away from it.
Even so, he nodded along, taking in this explanation completely and making sure to search up this girl later, just out of kindness and to see what she does exactly. It at least sounded interesting, and Edestrick couldn’t exactly go sailing any time soon.
☠ ;; “It isn’t really a problem. It’s only food. And yes, if you want to use the name ‘Edestrick’ to address me, that isn’t a problem either. You can shorten it, if you find a way how. Personally, ‘Destin’ is one of my favourite nicknames.”
He blinked at her proposition of playing videogames. He was a little apprehensive about it all. Since he grew up in a rather large castle, he never had much time for technology. Not that he didn’t have it, of course. Only the best for the royal family. He simply..never took interest. Really, he just didn’t want to break her tablet.
Even so, since he was sat on the floor, the boy simply inched closer to the other, holding out his hands for the piece of equipment.
☠ ;; “Thank you…I would like to play. But please give me pointers on how to..work it. I haven’t ever played a video game before. I hope this is an amusing experience for you.”
Flashing her a small smile, he simply awaited direction upon how to use this thing. He had rather high tech gagets himself, such as a phone and a laptop for studying, but really, that was it. Only an idiot would break something in the process of attempting to impress someone.
Destin.. It suits you, I guess. Since that's one of your favorite nicknames... then you can call me Elsie. It's my internet name.
He never played a video game before? That was... sad, really. Sure she didn't know why he didn't, but it still got her down. If she had to introduce him to one of his first games, she had to show him a great one.
If only she brought her laptop with her.
It wasn't that her tablet wasn't great, but she only had apps. As she handed him the tablet, she made sure to be close just so she can look through her games. Right away she crossed out a few games, such as Alpaca Evolution. God, that game was just downright strange, even for her.
Temple run was a pretty good one, but then again she did delete it after she got tired of it, so that one was out of the question. If only she found something easy to play yet addicting at the same ti--
Flappy Bird.
Oh watching a beginner play this was the best thing she'll ever witness.
Alright I got a game that's pretty ...easy? All you gotta do is click to make the little bird jump and go through the pipes..
She proceeded to show him, starting the game and began tapping at the right moments. The girl managed to reach 57 pipes until the bird happened to crash into the incoming pipe. With a grin, she handed him back the tablet and started the game again.
Not so hard, right? It might be a little hard at first, but you'll get used to it around the 7th try!
