Funny how we easily condemn other people for their wrongdoings and forget to look at our own.

You've come this far, You're all cleaned up, You've made a mess again, There's no more trying, Time to sort yourself out
I made a mess again.
How do you pull yourself from the rut?Â
Thereâs something more to life than what we see on the surface. â Adyashanti
A Literal World Map
This is a map of the literal translations for the names of the worldâs countries.
i wish i had a home somewhere in northern italy where i can spend my summers reading books, biking through the country, and eating fresh fruit all day
For a few moments, one of the worldâs foremost experts on gravity was free of it. His smile â and his eyes â couldnât have been brighter.
Itâs an iconic image. Physicist Stephen Hawking â world famous for expanding humanityâs understanding of the cosmos â floats in midair, free of gravityâs pull.
The picture was snapped in 2007 while the scientist was aboard a âzero-Gâ airplane flight.
On that flight with Hawking was scientist Joshua Boger. Heâs a Wesleyan graduate and the former chair of the universityâs board of trustees. Boger also founded Vertex Pharmaceuticals.
Boger sat directly behind Hawking on that flight, which tracked out over the Atlantic, dipping up and down in the sky to provide its passengers with eight brief windows of weightlessness.
âHe was beaming, his cheeks were as high as Iâd ever seen them. And he was just in, what looked like, ecstasy,â Boger recalled. âWe were all, of course, mesmerized, staring, at Professor Hawking.â
Boger, who had been on weightless flights prior to the one with Hawking, said you donât really understand gravity until someone takes it away and puts it back.
âAnd thatâs what I thought he was thinking,â Boger said. âThis person who understood, in detail, the equations of gravity, and took those equations to places that no one else had imagined ⌠he was so joyful because he apprehended gravity for the first time.â
Hawking was the best-known theoretical physicist of his time. His body was attacked by ALS â also known as âLou Gehrigâs diseaseâ â when he was 21, but he stunned doctors by living with the usually fatal illness for more than 50 years.
Hawking died Wednesday. In a statement, his children Lucy, Robert, and Tim called him âa great scientist and an extraordinary man whose work and legacy will live on for many years.â
âItâs very easy when weâre around in the time of great people to think of them as âpretty good,â but maybe not as great as some of the famous people we learned about in books,â Boger said. âBut this was a guy who was every bit as great anyone else youâve ever heard about.â

Insecurities
That moment when someone pulls the trigger on your insecurities again and again as if it was just fine; as if it was just normal like it doesnât affect you that much. Hah. Iâll stop after this. Iâm sorry but you really hurt my feelings. Now I donât know if Iâll ever risk trying to be confident around people again after you repeatedly point out how I am just like other people whom I donât see any resemblance of me in terms of personality to. Iâm just so fvckin tired of being compared to others as if I am not good enough just by being me. Hi, Iâm unique too. I have my own unique components that make me who I am. Damn.Â

Invalid Feelings
I donât know what hurts more, having someone doubt you or having someone invalidate your feelings? But I guess both fall under the category of âinvalidation.â So.. Lately, I was interviewed for something. And the whole time I was there (which was only about 15-20minutes), all I heard were doubts. So loud I couldnât even manage to handle my emotions. I know that Iâm the one in need. But, really? Not everyone lies. And I tell you, itâs one of my principles never to lie. Idk.. Iâm just.. really.. sad. Iâm not lying. Please do not use stereotypes on me. Iâm none of those. Open your mind to what could be, and not on what you assume it must be. Because, Iâm sorry, but you really hurt my feelings.
Some pictures of the flowers in the flower shop I went to lately. Haha. âtwas an amazing experience. It made me reminisce my childhood years xD Those years when I used to live in a semi-forest-like place haha. My grandmothers really love gardening. I guess their genes made up most of me because I do love the same thing they do xD Made me wish I was an agri student. XD

Tomorrow is the Day
Tomorrow is the day
I'll leave this house
For God knows until when
Tomorrow is the day
I'll live like a homeless gal
With no family to come back to
Tomorrow is the day
I'll leave my mother and brother
Along with the 4-day memories
Tomorrow is the day
I'll go back to how it should
No matter how much it shouldn't
Tomorrow is the day
I'll carry my own burden
When I'll be on my own
Tomorrow is the day
He'll come back
And the time for farewells
Tomorrow is the day
I'll be stripped off
With anything
Including my family
Tomorrow is the day.
I DONT CARE IF YOU LIKE STEVEN UNIVERSE OR NOT
If you suffer from Anxiety, Depression, Disassociation, Intrusive thoughts, or any number of things that take you away from a healthy head-space then this song is for you. This song is a template for a coping mechanism. This will walk you through a legitimate method of addressing intrusive thoughts and working through them in order to ground yourself. I cannot express how important this is- for people like me who suffer from these moments all the time this song is so important.

Never Noted
When I was young, I wanted to be a princess. I wanted to wear thousands of glittery dresses, sleep in a comfy canopied bed, wear a gilded crown, have an enormous garden, eat luxurious food, and be loved by millions of people. But now that I grew up, I realized I had more than a princess could have. Our family was not financially rich, but we were together. My parents did everything they could to give what my brother and I wanted. You see, I never really noted how my mother did not order food every time we eat outside. I never really noted how she would just eat the food we leave on our plates. I never really noted how many times she told us she was not hungry when in fact, she has not eaten anything. I never really noted how my mother has always been there for us. While some people say âOkay, so⌠tell me. Iâll listenâ while typing on their phones, my mother says âWhere are you? Iâll go there,â or âCome here.â I never noted how selfless my mother was. She does everything she can to send me and my brother to school even when it means living away from us and doing it all by herself. When I was young, I also never really noted how my father ran after a guy who was peddling teddy bears just to stop me from crying. I never really noted how he made us laugh when he gave us totally random and silly stuff. My mother would always giggle whenever she caught my father secretly handing me and my brother the cube-like necklaces with assorted lights that he used to buy. I never really noted how my father would go home with story books that he encouraged me to read and color. I never noted how loved I was (and still am). I never noted how much I had. Ma, you are an amazing person. I may not be living with you, but I know someday we will live together again like we used to. I really miss you. Pa, I know we will never meet again. Donât worry about us. I hope you are fine in heaven. I miss you as well. So bad.
Love, Rachel
