Experimenting with shapes. I believe my first proper acknowledgement of Evangelion was with the older Super Robot Wars games when sprite hunting- they were so tiny! Enjoyed the show and the films, hopefully the next one will be released someday.

Ryuko Matoi (Kill La Kill) in Blazblue Cross Tag Battle style?

A personal challenge after rediscovering a RWBY x Kill La Kill character select from 2013. It was pretty fun to try emulate the new Blazblue sprite style- god knows how long it takes to get all the actual frames done for a single character + introductions to each previous character.

Based on the in-game Pixel Spray for Mercy, dabbling with angled shading and less prominent outlines.

<Black Mage> <Limit Break> <Cast it!> FF14's Black Mage casting the LB3 Skill. The Black Mage Elezen from the 1.0 original promotional work was pretty sassy.

Pixel Dailies "Hat" theme using the current MS Paint palette. It's definitely a lot softer than the older palette... Timelapse will be up on Youtube at a later date.
