Levi's first Halloween! He makes a cute little monkey, doesn't he?
Dear Levi,
You're about 5 months now. You're more than twice the size you were when you were born- Isn't that crazy? You're getting kind of talkative too, even though you aren't actually talking, just squealing and cooing. You make lots of faces too. You can get this kind scrunched up face when you're thinking. That comes from your daddy. And you like to move your eyebrows, too. I'll admit, that comes from both of us. Grandma bought you a Pat the Bunny book. You just love to run your hand over the little fur patch over and over again, like you do with Kiko's ear when you sleep. Speaking of Kiko, you better stop dropping him over and over again just to see us pick it up for you. One day you might drop him and never get him back! When we put you on your back to rest, sometimes you like to play this game where I'll hold my hands over you and you try to push against them with your feet. Really I'm trying to see how far you can kick, but you just think playing around. It is really fun when I act like I'm gonna eat your little toes and you just laugh and squeal. You like to tugs on things too, like my hair. Don't worry, it doesn't hurt, but you keep on trying to put it in your mouth which wouldn't be good for either of us. We're trying to figure out what you're going to look like when you're older but it's hard! I think your hair is still deciding between brown or blonde and while you were born with blue eyes, they're getting darker and greener everyday. Speaking of your eyes, we're seeing less of them lately since you're starting to sleep more and more. Thank you for that, baby boy! Extra sleep is always nice. But I think you may be waking up now, so this letter has to come to an end. Love, Mommy.
I'm waiting for the day when you get mad at me for continuously taking pictures of you. -Mommy
It was rough, but the reward we got was better than we could ever hope for. -Mommy
