LANDON KIRBY legacies / 2.15
raynepupâ:
She knew Kaleb probably didnât like her being out in the preserve on her own, not after last time, but she needed to get some air, and go and curl up in her cave for a little while. Sheâd left him a drawing of a stick figure standing in a cave so he knew where to look for her. On her way though she caught the scent of another werewolf, and she stalked over, growling a little. She flashed her blue eyes at him, out of habit. âDonât know. Humans, probably. It usually is.â She kicked a little at the scorched earth, frowning. It was going to be harder to hunt for animals out here now for sure.
...
he thought he heard a growl, so he was surprised to see a girl younger than him appear. before levi had a chance to speak again, her eyes flashed blue and he jumped back.  âwhoa! your eyes.â the eyes. the way she said humans. it took a second to remember.  âyouâre a werewolf, too!â the blue eyes meant sheâd killed. huh. no one heâd known in his pack had blue eyes. they must do things differently out here in california.  âyou donât know what happened, though?â

âYeah, thatâs fine. Email it it to the usual one and iâll check it out tonight. Thanks Mitch.â A beep, the line disconnecting before the hunter slid the phone back into his pocket. A newly acquired phone thanks to a trip to the local shopping center. But a guy jogged into sight, his voice carrying across the deadened grass. âOh, man. You totally missed it. These area 51 dudes busted in outta nowhere and told all of us to look away and some had these little black sticks with this big flash andâ I honestly donât remember the rest. Kinda crazy, right?â A pause. âYou lost, kid?â
...
levi did what he could to survey his surroundings, get a lay of the land. if this was the preserve, he didnât see anywhere that a pack of werewolves might lived. he understood not advertising it, but come on. how was a guy supposed to find his way around town? he tilted his head when the other spoke, eyes going wide in wonder.  âwhoa. really?â if werewolves existed, and apparently so did vampires, he saw no reason area 51 wouldnât be real. is that what they hid there? but something about that sounded familiar.  âwait, isnât that a movie?â levi rubbed the back of his neck. was he lost?  âno? i donât think so. i just got here, so . . . okay, maybe.â

Sheâd been on a run, trying to mark out the best path that wasnât constant uphill. Kelsey may have enjoyed the exercise and way to clear her mind but the girl wasnât a masochist. Her nosiness won out her original path though as she diverted, heading towards the clearing now charred and blackened and reeking of something old, evil. It made her nose itch, and she was lost in looking at what was either dry blood or wet ash when a voice startled her with his woah. âHoly crap when did you even get here?â Granted coldplay was currently blasting out of the one headphone dangling from her ear but still, how had she missed a whole ass person? âUhm ââ what was the appropriate cover for sacrifice? âAâŚthing, landed. Crash landed. Super wild.â Kelsey gave him her full attention, now a little confused. âWaitâŚhave we .. met?â
...
âuh . . . â he checked the time on his phone and looked back up at the girl.  âlike here? five minutes ago. in town? maybe seven minutes ago.â it was only then that he realized he was gonna need a place to stay. maybe sheâd know a cheap hotel, or a landlord willing to look the other way until he got some actual income, and not just money heâd gotten for his birthday a couple weeks prior.  âwait â really? holy shit. like a UFO?â levi started to walk toward the mess, but her question caught him off guard.  âhave we?â he stepped closer, looking her over more closely.  âwait. oh my god. lorraine, right? what are you doing here?â
as he drove past the  âwelcome to beacon hillsâ sign, levi had no idea what he was leaving behind. how âenjoy your stayâ was a demand, not a suggestion. heâd come here on a wing and a prayer, following the whispers on the wind that told him there were people like him here. werewolves. so in his mind, it made sense to check out the preserve. theyâd probably be isolated, right? his old pack kept to themselves. but what he discovered did not scream 'lycanthropes welcome!' not even a little. âwhoa!â he exclaimed, jogging towards the scorched earth. âthis is totally not what the postcard looked like.â levi turnd around and saw someone standing nearby. âwhat happened?â // @trappedreblogsâ
âšâžâŽ ( aria shahghasemi. cismale. he/him ) It seems that LEVI RILEY has been drawn to Beacon Hills. Thatâs probably because they are a 21/21 year old WEREWOLF. When they arrived here a year ago, they were very EMPATHETIC + ADAPTABLE, but since then, theyâve been known to be more AIMLESS + NAĂVE. They kinda remind me of a nightmare you see every time you close your eyes, wanting so badly to believe in something it aches, hoping for the best while preparing for the worst, learning to recognize your reflection again.Â
