if you're familiar with me i've probably explained my designs like a million times already and you're sick and tired of it but unfortunately the mtt grind never ends so we're explaining it for the 33rd time again
overall the designs are the same from the last time i uploaded my utmv designs (which was earlier in april this year holy art progression) and the only things changed are colors! just most notably horror's shoes and the inside of dust's hood are now RED and PURPLE for beautiful beautiful color coordination. if you even care mtt now have 2 seperate colors that have the same value & saturation but just different hues because i want them to match 🥺 my gays they should fight then make out and die
but for details i shall explain once again... killer is more "combat ready" than hrdt because key point of him is he's not Sans. Sans doesn't like fighting he literally wears shit that you could sleep in. hrdt have similar fits just with minor additions while killer has knee protection and proper boots so he could always be ready for a fight... plus chara (or aim if you know my players take) gave him those clothes anyways and they wear the same so its also for style purposes 😇 the little tight things (no idea what they are. belts?) around killer's arms are there to hint at restraint. he was restrained by the code to aceept the deal, but ironically theyre on his arms and not even connected compared to handcuffs or something. he's "free" now in a way, he's not limited to his old code, but the remnants of his restraints will always be there with sans and determination and his chara hallucinations,,,,,
horror's got pretty much a similar equivalent of the sans outfit (just with the hood zipped up (i prefer zipped over unzipped (he's also hiding his ripped shirt that exposes his spine 🧡))) but it has more tears and fluffy socks. the shoes are red to hint at bloody footprints. one must imagine horror leaving bloody footprints after killing a human for snowdin! the cloak is one that he stole from undyne during the core incident... he still wears it because of spite and comfort (makes him seem bigger + it helps with the perpetually cold feeling that starvation gives). the fun thing about giving him a cloak is that those are associated with royalty!! (ergo why undyne wore one (didn't asgore as well)) horror's the head honcho of snowdin he supplies the food while papyrus prepares it, everyone listens to him (even if its not a good idea) and everyone (somewhat) respects him. he's TECHNICALLY the "king" of snowdin... and his crown is the glaring jagged hole in his head 🙂
dust similarly to horror still has a sans-er outfit (compared to killer LOL) and honestly keeps MORE elements of it than horror does. his whole thing though is that he's dressed for practicality and efficiency with as fast of a set up as possible. no more long sweatpants to trip over when he can tuck them into his socks 😒 no scarf around the neck because of the choking hazard 😒 no more dealing with fights when he can wear the hood and a cloak to disguise his identity and get betrayal kills 😒 but he still gets to keep the cutie hoodie strings with the cloak strings because i think calvateyla once said he'd play with them 😇 every scarf has its own unique shape and not like dust has any specific meaning... but it does look like geno's scarf. genocide run buddies? also the case could be made to symbolize his hypoccritical contradictory self (one side is sharp and tense while the other flows freely)
now not to get TOO much into being an art nerd but the placement of blacks and white are also fun to point out 🥺 dust & horror both have their blacks consolidated onto specific areas (blacks on shoulders/upper legs) and don't appear on areas aside from those designated places while killer's blacks (and his whites too technically) are spread out throughout his design. why is this you may ask?! well because i thought it looks good and i just slapped a meaning onto it later (the aforementioned meaning being how killer's bad traits are coded into him with determination and spread throughout him, not something he took on upon his own accord (erm but triglycercule weren't dust & horror forced by circumstance- No. thanks for watching like and subscribe) like how hrdt chose to don the cloaks on their own)
was that fun for you non mtt fans (probably not) but its ok! everyone else will have considerably less notes on them because i either A) do not care enough to make them detailed-er or B) do not know them well enough to make any big design choices C) like their canon design too much to make any changes
fell & geno
why should i discuss sans undertale himself he's sans undertale he needs no explanation. anyways fell and geno are together because i love afterfell #makeafterfellpopular2025 anyways their designs are pretty boring because i actually Love the canon designs as i said above... so just for fell i leaned into some Minor cat details :3 because for some reason his canon design has lines on the shoes and they reminded me of paws so he gets a little spiky tail and the jacket fluff can look like cat ears occasionally from the right angle who knows hehehe......
for geno i never like drawing the giant slash because i always forget + it just looks ugly and random so i incorporated it with the scarf instead so i'd NEVER forget B) i said this last time as well but the ends of his shorts are ripped in a way that resembles a heartbeat + obviously the labcoat-esque jacket because he has scientist medical vibes with the giant syringe he uses to inject determination in himself. but Also there Are hints of error foreshadowing,,, like with the determination melting his sockets to look like tears and the coat having some small stitching and error is thread associated. eitherway i love his scarf probably the most out of everyone its such a sharp and fun dramatic shape
star sanses
the stars are all Minorly deviated in my multiverse because i wanted them to be a tad uniquer and tailored to my preferences :3 perhaps the beginnings of a triglycerverse... who knows...
honestly not many notes for ink he's pretty samey as the og (because i love the og) but i just made the upperpart thingy looser and leotard (for style points) and gave him Proper gloves because i thought it was cute :33 his scarf is like flowy and paintbrushly BUT DONT WORRY broomie isnt gone!! the scarf just holds broomie for ink now,,, because i think giving him a little extra set of limbs is so fun for expressions and stuff the paints are out of order so mtt can be together in the rainbow yes thats the real reason
now triglycercule doesnt like characters that have a purely sweet and kind personality. unfortunately i find that boring. a character can be both kind while also having some other trait that isnt they're thoughtful and patient and a good person. and unfortunately my goat dream falls under this category 💔 so he's becoming more assertive and determined because i want him to. i do not think for a guy who wants to keep positivity alive in the multiverse where any bad possibility DOES EXIST out there that being friendly and approachable 24/7 Works. it just doesnt work i fear... also my nightmare take has 999 versions so he'd have to develop some serious mental resistance dealing with that and toughen up and grow a backbone 😒
dream wears a cutie little jacket because i think it gives off superhero vibes (and with the cape that little dream wears wouldn't it be cute if he did actually become a hero of some kind :3 ❓) and the weird gem looking things are actually Suns (ik they look weird ok 💔) but MODERNIZED because triglycercule thinks drawing suns with the circle and triangles all that is too tedious and i'm impatient and its too easy to mess up. with the circlet AND the hood both at the head it would look a tad too crowded there so i moved the circlet to replace that fucking disgusting DS belt because goddamn that belt is so ugly 💀 dream's og outfit really is cute but i dont like it (and triglycercule thinks the bow is too restrictive and boring compared to the cool shit nightmare can do with the goop) so dream gets a less restricted flowier outfit so he can do more cool movements and shit heheh
swap is pretty similar to his og design too 🤔 triglycercule wanted to make him somewhat a mix of sans and papyrus because i wanted his underswap to be unique with a stats swap along with personality but ehh idk enough about undertale or underswap to go into detail so just imagine he's like Normal Swap (for now... unless i get the motivation to elaborate on him) no major notes hehe just that his scarf is inspired by how rahafwabas draws it. not design notes but he goes along with dream to help with all the maintaining positivity stuff because papyrus wanted him to do something cool and noble like that since he couldn't with his 1hp and shit,,, gotta do it for his bro 🙏

error's design isnt anything new its just horrendously brighter compared to last time :3 scarf is bracket shaped because its fun and geometric and i'm sure [] has many mathematical meanings which hey isnt error's schtick code and all that thats numbers idk idk LOL. unintentional detail but the sleeve and pant leg that has the string tied around it reminds me of those japanese ghost dolls (teru teru bōzu is what theyre called...) but that really has no meaning it just reminds me of it :3 strings tied around the neck 🤔 wouldn't that be one of error's ways to make a death quick and easy 🤔
about the two elephants in the room... berror to the right is the first swap sans that error yoinked into the antivoid. he follows the same plotline as in askerror because i love berror. blueberror to the left is a NEW swap that error yoinked into the antivoid because he was bitter and pissy and missed the companionship that berror gave him (but he'd never admit that)
berror is calmer and more similar to regular swap. he does the mildly unsettling jokes thing that CQ said he would but he's pretty well adjusted to being in the omega timeline B) he can't exactly be a Royal Guard anymore (because does that even exist in the omega timeline) so instead he's been appointed sherrif by frisk hehehe,,, not like any crime is happening in the OT 😒 but thats where he gets the cool funky boots with spurs and an auraful scarf and his badass star belt. also canon swap has kinda cowboy shaped boots doesnt he..... + i didn't draw it here but he has his own little megaphone LOL that's where he can either shout out random shit or shoot star projectiles out of :3
blueberror is a certified MANIAC 😁 didnt crayonqueen say that an error's last thoughts are what define them or something? then if berror's last thoughts were something like "i want to go home" then blueberror's last thoughts must've been "i just wanna be a good friend to error" (my god error you really manipulated this swap HARD) so he's a littleeee bit of a freak about being error's friend. theyre pals tho trust blueberror's whole design is based around his name. there's the little leaf top of the blueberry shape all over :3 why is there glaring orange in the middle of his design despite it not fitting the CMY he has to match error's RYB? idk... you might need to ask his papyrus about that... (fly high blueberror's papyrus (and the rest of his au LOL))

oh man these guys... i used to not be into them at ALL but you know what they say hate, too, is a form of love so i got sucked into making my own interpretations of them and now whoops now theres another trio triglycercule likes COLOR me surprised AHAHAHA PUN PUN
can i just say... color's design is SO fucking boring holyyy shitttt even the redesigns i found that people made for him just werent INTERESTING enough for me 💔💔 i'm not letting such cool potential as his rainbow flames lava lamp oil go to waste so i just decided to lean ALL the way into that (because really what design motifs could he even HAVE that are lore relevant...). triglycercule took a little looksie at his lore and color is in the void with gaster so like why WOULDNT his body be all fucked up and gloopy (like gaster) if he's literally stuck in the place that scatters you across space and time. thats also why he's kinda Gray looking despite being rainbow guy COPIES ARE MONOCHROME BUT YOU COLORED EACH OF US IN WITH CARE also i took a tad bit of inspo from asriel's god of hyperdeath forms since they both have the human souls and an arm gun weapon thing so thats why he's got the giant hands and soul infront of the chest (hey killer we found another one like you!) the giant hands are his "grablings" because i really did not like that the giant hands that color apparently has ARENT present in his design at all?? its RANDOM its like making a plant themed character with zero plants in the design just Green. also because the non skeleton body allows for me to be creative like that Ahaha. overall im actually very happy with his design i think its very unique :3
delta's design is, in contrast to color, basically the same as his canon design because you dont need to change something that already works. he's just a guy getting into fights being a somewhat corrupt vigilante he doesnt need more than a shirt and pants. but triglycercule tried to make the Δ delta symbol (isnt it just a triangle?) be a reoccuring thing in his design since obviously... he's DELTA... the DELTA symbol... also Δ is usually used for a change in something. and like... being a guy who's very steadfast and focused for his goal (which is to prevent what happened to his world from happening to others) then surely he would strive to "make a change". basically what i'm here to announce is i'm giving him a catchphrase to go with the whole vigilante thing (imagine this being said with the obama clip of basically what i'm here to announce is we're building iron man)
epic's design is also pretty similar to his canon design but i added more of that cool belt thing that epic originally had on his jacket EVERYWHERE for flowy-ness and ANIME COOL FACTOR!1!1!!1!1!! ALSO he's YELLOW now because weirdly epictale is actually a very YELLOW au almost everyone BUT epic and like mad mew mew are yellow so i didnt want him to be so one color and stand out from everyone else. lowkey isnt even that much of a pure purple he's more magenta-y because triglycercule doesnt like having overlapping colors (outer gets indigo cross gets cool purple dust gets purple purple and epic gets magenta so there's no overlap! everyone wins!) and also i just think the magenta goes well with the pink and yellow and i like having a pink sans au somewhat... lust don't rear your ugly head into here FRESH GET AWAY IM NEVER DRAWING YOU
outer & farm
hey it's another triglycercule rarepair along with afterfell! can we also make outerfarm popular as well... #makeouterfarmpopular2025... come on alien x farmer is cute if you just think about it for a second anyways outer looks even MOREEEE aliencore than last time because triglycercule LOVES aliens and the alien aesthetic and when there's a space themed au why not take the GLARING opportunity to make the au alien aesthetic?!?!? same as last time the microphone and hood thingy is there to look kinda like an astronaut's helmet but now i added 2 new colors to the design: green and red because green=alien and red? i just wanted to make him more colorful. but then that makes him kinda look like a traffic light so you know what maybe instead of being a sentry guard like in UT (how can they be on the lookout for humans when theyre in fucking SPACE) maybe he's part of a space traffic prevention organization or something idk LOL outertale should be goofy like that. also cute alien bopper antenna :3 and different shaped legs because alien :3
farm is pretty BORING looking because how do you make a farmer look interesting but its ok its ok he has the power of overalls. a friend suggested i make the patches on the pants be star shaped so outerfarm real but to that i say HAH im not NEARLY that obvious with my ship bait in designs 😒😒😒 had to give em the classic hat and slippers but the jacket was ditched unfortunately because if farm is gonna be out in the sweltering heat idc how much he can find ways to slack off and not go into the sun it WILL be incredibly hot and i wouldnt dare put him through that heat in a JACKET. he gets a cool rustic plaid lumberjack style shirt but triglycercule couldnt be bothered to draw the plaid because if you couldnt tell all of this is incredibly low quality art with not a droplet of rendering 💔

he's NAKED ⁉️⁉️⁉️ well he's a god what did you expect a full business suit,,, in actuality triglycercule just really likes drawing bones and this is my way to get crumbs of that :.3 i swear there's thought behind it tho except for the scythe wings there's no reason for that i just thought it was so fucking cool. he gets that just for sheer aura,,, but the giant ball weights (looks pretty weird without rendering but trust its metal) on his shoulders is there because he's gotta shoulder the burden of being Death. reaper papyrus also probably has something similar if i ever designed him but he doesnt have to deal with the pissy souls that arent ready to go yet SANS does unfortunately. speaking of metal the chains on the ankles are for a similar purpose (chained to his job, no getting out of it buddy) and the scythe wings also have chains connecting to the spine thing. why does it connect to the spine i hear you ask? well its because that gives him a kinda hourglass shaped body and i know that reaper was drawn with an hourglass once as a trinket he had or something and i think that's too cool NOT to reference. originally the crown of thorns was just gonna be ONLY a crown for the meaning of sacrifice (again, he's fucking DEATH) but then i just slapped them everywhere. pretend that life decorated reaper with them or something and they died to a red color (goes nicely with the black and cyan tho ngl)

what is this BOZO doing on here with TWO seperate designs is he stupid or something. no triglycercule just got carrried away designing is all... astute eyes will notice that the first cross design has the XGASTER EYES OOOOH WHATTTT yeah i kinda DIDNT want the events of underverse to happen because that would kinda fucking destroy a lot of the multiverse (thanks error!) so instead in MY verse dream and swap found out about cross and xgaster's soul that ink was keeping and were like Yeah No youre not doing this you gotta apologize and we'll put the soul somewhere safe. and then whoopsy daisy turns out apologizing to cross and telling him about the vial right after saying that he could, infact, not bring back his world was a bad idea ink. can you really believe that cross snatched up the vial and absorbed the soul whattt. NOW I'M NOT A CROSS EXPERT OK but i do know that he canonically CANT use overwrite because uhhh it doesnt work with monster bodies or something. and to that i just say that xchara's determination came in clutch because in triglycerverse if you have enough determination you can do ANYTHING. and i mean ANYTHING ANYTHING you DETERMINE everything if you have the will to do so. and then ooh cross gets the cool overwrite powers and then does a badasser version of the xevent. so yeah thats why he's got the xgaster eyes and the xchara poncho and a new fit (that's less irritating to draw!)
and then obviously he's gotta be beaten SOMEWHAT the stars arent just gonna let cross run around stealing code from worlds so after the xevent he loses the ability to overwrite and goes to the omega timeline because idk xtale fucking died or something LOL. core frisk was like okkkk so youre kinda a multiversal criminal so we cant really just let you run around willy nilly because that would be stupid so it's been decided you'll be the JANITOR! because that's funny and i'm a believer that if you wanna redeem a character you gotta force them to make up for their bad choices or else they dont deserve to be redeemed 🙂 anyways its also because epic is the janitor in underverse studios and i gotta have them suffering the same fate just in different multiverses

sans "continuation" aus (aus that started off as classic sans like mtt, geno, color, etc) will always have one stripe on the side of the shorts. aus that dont start out as sans but still have a "sans"ish outfit (fell, swap, outer) will probably have two stripes on the side instead. the only one who gets to claim the title of front single stripe is mr. undertale sans himself
just as every au with a scarf has their own unique shape every au also has unique socket shapes :3 because i like uniqueness. some of the more obvious ones to give meaning to are outer's "alien" shaped almond sockets and cross's sockets being X shaped at the outer sides but everyone has specific ones for their personality :3
getting obnoxious here with the uniqueness bullshit but if you even care everyone with a hood has a different style shape for the sides or the back... because i can......
if someone brings him up that's how i'll know they didnt read this but THERE IS NO NIGHTMARE DESIGN IN THIS ITERATION. WHY? well it's for a simple reason: there are WAY too many versions of him to draw. my nightmare's a hivemine creature with 999 seperate forms and as much as i love making designs i'd geniunely go insane making 999 designs for the same fucking character. only consistent thing about nightmare though is that he'd have dream's socket shape but flipped upside down
as much as i care not for "Chromatic Crew" i will admit it is a coincidence that i just noticed that every member of it has a heart shaped something on their chest 💀 what a coincidence..........
again with the faction affiliation shits?! all of the star sanses have gold accents 🤔 plus some guys affiliated with them like cross (ink's ???) and fell (him and swap (and maybe sans idk) are og au buddies) have gold in their designs too isnt that fun and i PROMISE not on purpose i swear 😭
none of them have specific heights (because i know i'd fuck them all up regardless) but theyre all probably in the low to mid 5 ft range. ink is like 4 ft because of course he's the shortest. the tallest would be dream (and if i drew him, nightmare) but killer and reaper are like right behind him and this is a stupid thing to notice but i kinda made dust like the second shortest. which. whoops. him and outer are right before ink i guess and everyone else is in that in between range... well except for color maybe he can shapeshift to be taller or smaller idk idk
My controversial opinion (I don't know if it's actually controversial I haven't looked into it) is that earthspark starscream looks so goddamn stupid. So I took the time to tweak his face/helm/wings and a couple other small details while trying to keep him looking earthsparky, and he ended up looking kind of like a bat! Batscream.
I am super glad to have drawn this, it helped me get back into art after struggling to transition from college to summer! The best way to do this is to not take your art too seriously, feel free to have it not be perfect.
