Feysand Reunion

The first thing Feyre says to Rhys when they are alone during their reunion in ACOWAR (page 129) is if he wants to know about her time in the Spring Court. He immediately tells her that he’d rather be with her before they start discussing  that. He goes on to tell her how much he missed her, how much he loves her, that she is valuable. He is comforting her and reassuring her of how important she is to him.

In ACOMAF, the first time that she returned to the Spring Court, to Tamlin, from her first week with Rhys due to the bargain, she was interrogated about the Night Court. She was suffering from PTSD and depression, extremely conflicted on Rhys and his intentions, and all she really wanted in that moment was for Tamlin to hold her and comfort her. And instead he pushed her to reveal all the information that she had learned with Rhys.

And a little after this Rhys says, “By the time I got to the Spring Court, you’d vanished.” Meaning he went to the Spring Court to get his mate back, because he was terrified that something had happened to her. He went knowing it would jeopardize their plans to learn what Hybern was planning and gaining the upper-hand. He didn’t sit idly by while she was in danger. Rhys would never abandon Feyre, and damn whatever the cost for going to her would be.

acomaf vs acowar

people who keep saying acowar was trash compared to acomaf…. let me tell ya something… acowar and acomaf are two different books with two different purposes. acomaf was a character driven book. the whole purpose of it was for character arcs and development. it was supposed to be a bridge for something to come. rhysand and feyre’s relationship drove the book, which made it so enjoyable. acowar was a plot driven book. its whole focus was on the war with hybern. the entire point of the book was to find a solution. the WAR drives the book. and for a book focused on war, it was pretty darn good. of course acomaf was better than acowar in the character sense, but the characters were already developed in acowar. acowar needed to be plot driven if anything was gonna get done in this world.

Chapters: 1/1 Summary: Cassian and Nesta have to spend a night in a little Inn. Of course they have to sleep in the same room due to the lack of free chambers. When Nesta hears screams from the chamber next door, Cassian shows her what is happening there. Bringing Nesta to scream, too.

“Wait, wait, wait Nesta, trust me the girl is not getting hurt. Actually she is taken care of quite properly,” he said with a wicked smile on his face. Nesta did not understand how he could believe that she wasn’t tortured. All she could hear were moans and screams and pleas to stop.

Cassian turned his face to her. His body was so close that she could feel his heat. He looked at her lips, his hand wandering to her waist. Their bodies fit together perfectly. There was still an amused and devilish smile on his face. He takes one of his hands and starts to caress her face. Slowly she starts to understand what is going on behind the closed door. A little blush blossomed over her cheeks. Cassian was just smirking and moving even closer to her. She could feel is muscled body and her heart began pounding faster. “I guess you understand now… and don’t worry sweetheart, I intend to make you scream, too“

So as you know I just started writing fanfiction, so please be nice. I know that my english is not perfect and I probably made a lot of grammar mistakes. But for now I am proud of myself for at least trying and finishing it :)

Feyre and Velaris

I find Feyre’s relationship with the Night Court and Velaris to be truly beautiful. She always felt a pull to the quiet darkness that is the Night Court, to Rhysand, though she never realised it. And when she discovered her mate bond with Rhysand, she felt like she had come home- found her family. In A Court of Mist and Fury when Feyre is defending Velaris, I absolutely adore how she referred to them as her people, and it became her first instinct to protect them. That alone is so inspiring how she adopted the role so quickly and with no hesitation. She would rather die fighting than see her people suffer. I don’t know if anybody else feels this way, but I hope that one day I would love someone so deeply that I would sacrifice and risk myself just to protect the things my partner loves.
