recently i was trying to explain lettergate and phonegate to my brother since he had asked about some theories heading into s5. in the middle of my explanation he interrupted me to guess the theory was that there was a squirrel infestation in hawkins and the squirrels ATE the letters and chewed the phone line so mike couldn't contact will. i jokingly replied that vecna himself ate the letters and chewed the phone line and he's now suggesting that it was a two-man job and that vecna was working WITH the squirrels to succeed. he has asked me to tell you guys this and say this is his new st5 prediction, dubbing it "vecnasquirrelgate". i hope you all appreciate his attempted input.
