Welcome to the last part of me talking about krypton stuff because of my fic
Obviously the story was always going to end with the wedding so here's the bits and pieces I've found on comics: it's pretty much a human wedding with very little alien details and that was Boring
I kept the vows but since kryptonians were so sun-focused because of Rao I thought of them marrying under the first rays of sun would be an nice touch. That is a panel from the krypton chronicles part 3 page 9
The superstition I talked about comes from superman 1939 #164 but I changed it sightly because I did want them to have some sort of rings and jewels.
And finally, my favorite part: the dance and the clothes.
I CANNOT BELIEVE no one told me about Andor because the entire time I was watching the show I was thinking "omg yes that's what I mean when I thought of Kryptonian clothes" so here's the examples of the clothes the superfam was wearing at the wedding:

The dance, on its part, was also inspired by the wedding dance on Andor (yes, writing the last chapter and the andor obsession mixed up very clearly), it's not exactly the same but if you had trouble visualizing the dance scene, that's similar enough.

I used this quote from the show (3x04) on the religious guild chapter. The original scene on the show is Kara praying with Alura's hologram so I thught it was a nice detail that she'd watch Alura and Lena praying together. Since I headcanon praying is something Alura and Kara did together, adding Lena into it fully inserts it into the family.
To be honest, I'm not a religious person at all (partly why i headcanon lena not very religious, too) so even though i'm still fascinated with everything-krypton, the religious aspect is not my favorite. And because of that, basically, the religion in this universe follows closely to any other canon:
rao is the main god, its physical manifestation is the red sun: that's why when argo city rotates around a "new" sun it's still rao, since any red sun would be his manifestation
there's others deities
the book of rao holds its teachings
The voice of Rao is taken from the show Krypton (Syfy) but instead of having so much power like it did on the show, it's simply the guild leader like any other from the fic. Also that mask is too good not to add it.
