His words should have brought some comfort to her, but Arizona had willingly experimented with Holy Water. Making wise decisions wasn’t the girl’s best quality. “Are we talking about the same Arizona?” Her voice was filled with a dark sarcasm. Adriana nodded softly, suddenly finding her shoes very interesting. The rest of the squad, plus some of the Wilson girl other close friends, had probably lectured her about it. Adriana wasn’t planning on it. And didn’t want to bring an over worried Liam to her friend. Surprised eyes looked at him. She wasn’t expecting his order? Plea? Suggestion? She couldn’t read the emotion behind his words. “I -uh- I drove here.”

"She's done pretty stupid things, a lot of them, but her friends- much like me and Lyra, would probably keep her into doing a lot more stupid things." One can only think of the possibilities of Arizona doing a lot more. Liam looked at her, shaking his head a bit. How was it so easy for him to forget that literally five minutes ago; he rather put distance between them. "That's a rather weak argument, we can take my car- and just drive back here. Or we can take yours." He walked around her, to the kitchenette pulling a glass and water pouring her some. "Bottom line is, are you going to stay?"

“So what if I did. Hospital food is shit,” she admitted, not at all guilty. “I guess you have a point. We’re like your children and your the parent who has a leash around all of us,” she mused. Liam was always there taking care of them, sort of in the same way that Lyra mothered all of them, except his care expanded to include the eldest Quill. “Think what you want but I know the truth.” Harlow had her moments, they were hidden and rare but they were still there. “Flynn has a heart attack over everything I do. I’m probably the reason why he’s going to start to grow grey hairs before he turns thirty,” she shrugged. “Yeah, let’s hope. Although I’m just hoping to get rid of these face stitches as soon as possible.”

"High maintanance. It's barely a hospital; it's just a medbay." It was easier to make light jokes about this now, when he's had time to cool off and comfort Lyra before talking to Arizona. "Now that's an image I don't want to think off." Though she may be right, one way or another he made sure that Lyra's friends were safe until he actually started getting somewhat attached to them. "You do know your conspiracy theories doesn't count as truth right?" He raised a brow. "If he doesnt have them already." He paused, confused. "Why do you have face stitches?"
